Almost stole a similar race at Lingfield on Saturday. Out to gain quick compensation before the handicapper gets a chance to reassess him.
C&D specialist, suited to forcing tactics, whose last win here came from a higher mark. Off the track since disappointing over hurdles in October. Stable form is a concern but jockey booking is a positive move.
Picked up three C&D wins last autumn form marks ranging from 46-59. Starts this season from a 6lb higher mark but more than capable of defying the handicapper again.
Course winner who was not disgraced on first try over this trip on Monday. Races off same mark as when scoring under today's rider at Brighton last summer. One for the shortlist.
Last win came in 2014 and he has flattered to deceive on several occasions since. Remains 8lb above his last winning mark and connections drop him in distance in a bid to end the drought.
Has only beaten one horse home in each of his three starts in maidens for Michael Dods. Sure to offer more now handicapping but still makes limited appeal.
Last of five on stable debut last time. Trainer and jockey have a good strike rate when combining here. Stable are 4-10 in last fortnight but still requires a lot more for this 10-race maiden to open her account.
Winner of a C&D maiden before running below par at Wolverhampton. Better here next time and extra 2f will help.
Probably had too much use made of him over 1m4f last time. Has claims on his previous run at Wolverhampton (meets Outlaw Torn on 4lb better terms for 1L) and rider landed one at big odds for the yard here last week.
Front-runner looks held by Einstein and Hannington based on recent efforts. Has a good draw and in form stable do well here but others make more appeal.

On this occasion they are conceding the benefit of a recent run to a number of rivals who are capable of exploiting the advantage. Einstein should do better over this shorter trip and he is weighted to finish ahead of Outlaw Torn. Einstein's yard had a winner last week and the same rider is on board here. Hannington will be seen to better effect at this venue, but Fast and Hot is up against a couple of capable front-runners here and he will find it difficult to repeat the positive tactics employed last time. For the selection we look towards FALSE ID who tackled this trip for the first time in higher grade on Monday when catching the eye staying on for sixth. Robert Eddery's charge is down to the same mark as when scoring under today's rider at Brighton and that makes him an attractive proposition at the forecast odds.
