Scored at Newcastle from 2lb lower last month, though held on both starts since then from today's pitch. Should be very competitive but might again find a couple too good.
Dual Newcastle winner this calendar year, both being over the minimum trip. 3lb higher than last time's success today and has failed to win from higher than 60 for two years, so might just be caught short this time.
Won a Ripon maiden on debut two seasons ago but has hardly been at the races in nine subsequent runs despite the continued assistance of the assessor. Hard to be confident whether any ability remains and a watching brief has to be advised until we see signs of life.
Has won three handicaps, all over 7f and with the best of them coming at Musselburgh last summer from a mark of 56. Went close here from 1lb higher than today last June before losing way. May do better after a break and will need a positive ride to have her best chance of success.
All wins have been on tracks with long, galloping straights, so the tight turns here may not play to his strengths. Is now 8lb lower than a decent run over 5f at Pontefract in the summer, so may still be capable of making an impact after a winter break.
After a long drought and a slide in the weights he chiseled out a win last time at Wolverhampton. Now has to cope with a 5lb rise and previous recent form suggests that his chances of following up are not encouraging.
Won a C&D maiden a couple of years ago but has had plenty of chances and only one further win, which came from a stone higher mark. In fact, she is now 17lb lower than her last turf outing at Epsom and the assessor really is giving her a chance. Interesting if supported.
10lb lower than when winning at Doncaster in July 2015 when with Les Eyre, but there has been little joy since. Change of scene may help and trainer had a recent winner, so check the market for confidence.
Beginning life with her fourth trainer and yet to win in 13 starts. Best recent effort was from 3lb higher than this in a 6f Wolverhampton handicap in November and with new yard in decent form and appliances fitted, she could go well first time out in almost three months.
Last turf win was in 2014, though he has scored three times on the All Weather since then, including in January 2016 at Chelmsford (6f) from a mark of 59. However, all subsequent form on all surfaces makes him tough to recommend in this.

Forecasts
Bogsnog (9/2), Penny Dreadful (5/1), Storm Trooper (5/1), Blue Jacket (11/2), Ambitious Icarus (7/1), Life of Fame (8/1), Disclosure (9/1), Native Falls (9/1), Windforpower (10/1), French (14/1), Tabikat Elle (25/1), Louis Vee (40/1)
You wouldn't rule out a return to form for Penny Dreadful here, while Tabikat Elle, Native Falls and Stormtrooper are others with decent credentials. However, Rebecca Menzies saddles LIFE OF FAME and with her runners going well and this one sporting headgear for the first time, the filly might be one to catch today.
