Yet to run a bad race in three visits here and arrives for this on a 2lb lower mark than her last success. Ran well on her seasonal bow last term so has solid claims.
Down the field in a division of this 12 months ago. Went on to land two races once the hood/tongue-tie combination was tried. Handicapper has been in control since and that still appears to be the case.
Third in a C&D maiden here and the runner-up has franked the form since. However, disappointed when odds-on favourite next time and found no response under pressure. Interesting that top trainer has chosen to persevere with him.
Winner of five races but yet to do so over this trip or from a mark as high as this.
Has a C&D victory to his name but best form recently has been under positive rides over shorter. Racked up a hat-trick last summer and handicapper took his measure. Will be better for a sharpener over 5f and one to note in the market.
Former Godolphin horse who showed promise as a juvenile but has evidently had issues since. Made no show on return to action and best watched until market signals are positive.
Winner of two from nine including first time out in 2016. Latest run suggests she needs to slip further down the weights or to have improved over the winter.
St. Moritz winner who is without a win here since 2015. Offered a bit more last time in a good race at Kempton when having the run of the race up front. Still looks vulnerable but has good place prospects.
Sole win came off this mark at Yarmouth last year. Form before that, and since, has been patchy. Latest effort gives little encouragement.
Half-brother to Enrol and Enact who were useful performers for Sir Michael Stoute. Proved disappointing for Roger Varian last season and makes his handicap debut off a reasonable mark. Has looked a difficult ride and it remains to be seen if his new trainer can find the key to him.
Winner of two AW handicaps in January but has been weighted out of things since. Yet to win over this trip.
Winner of three races who will be better for a recent AW run. Ran well from this mark at the end of last season and has god claimer booked. Has to overcome a tricky draw.
Admirable veteran who notched his 15th success last time. Has three C&D victories in that record but has not landed successive races since 2011.

Sir Michael Stoute has kept Commodity in training and that faith suggests he is worth considering in this. His best run came here last season and it will be interesting to see how the market assesses his chances following a tame effort last time. Duke Of North arrives fitter for a recent AW outing and on a good mark. Drawn out in stall 14 his young rider will have his work cut out. Shifting Star and Berrahri arrive in form from their winter campaigns but Pam Sly's GHINIA could be the answer to a difficult race. The mare has a good record at the track and went well fresh last season. She won over C&D in 2015 but the handicapper, who has taken charge since, has given her a good opportunity to land her fourth success.
- Ghinia
- Commodity
- Berrahri
