His sole AW success came on reappearance from a 4lb lower mark in this race in 2015, when a 2½L winner from Arc Lighter. However, he enjoyed a profitable campaign on turf last season winning at Goodwood and Newmarket (for this rider on the latter occasion), so holds a clear chance if fully ready to roll.
Never on terms over a longer trip on his recent Wolverhampton stable debut, but was a winner from a 6lb lower mark on turf for previous trainer Jane Chapple Hyam at Newmarket last summer, so holds place claims, with his two AW successes so far coming on Polytrack at Lingfield.
Made steady progress in each of her four starts on turf in 2016, finishing a ½L runner up to Trainnah at Pontefract (1m2f) in July, before getting off the mark on her final run by 2L from Bocking End at Leicester later that month. Absence to overcome on her AW debut but looks the sort capable of further improvement.
C&D winner (January 2015) who was last seen in action contesting a Taunton handicap hurdle in February. However, appears more effective on the Flat (AW in particular), and would hold a chance if bouncing back to the type of form that saw him land a 1m2f Nottingham handicap by a head in May 2016.
Three time winner in Norway during 2016 (1m2f to 1m4f handicaps), but a distant last of nine on his UK debut at Wolverhampton in January. A watching brief for the moment.
His winning days in Ireland for Aidan O'Brien are now a fast fading memory, and has made little impression both over hurdles and on the Flat for this trainer throughout 2016, finishing last of six over this C&D to Kingthistle on his latest start in February.
In fair form at Wolverhampton in this grade in each of his last three starts. Won at that track (1m4f) in February, and was placed from this mark latest, so should go well if performing to that level, without looking blindingly well handicapped.

This race lacks any real strength in depth, and whilst the likes of Jacob Cats, Ravens Quest and Dolphin Village are all capable performers on the AW, the handicapper knows their respective levels of ability well. Therefore, BRIEF VISIT is the horse of interest, and appears very unexposed having raced just four times during 2016, including when winning on her final start at Leicester in May. She should take all of the beating upped slightly in trip for her AW debut despite the rather extended absence.
