Sole win was three years ago in a bumper and was off the racecourse from November 2015 until last month, when he was a 27L third over 3m1f at Carlisle (good to soft). Dropped in trip here and pilot takes 7lb off, though percentage call is to take a watching brief.
Well beaten on handicap earlier in the month and dropped 4lb for that now, but would need a huge turnaround in fortunes to get his nose in front this time.
3-82 CV for this safe old conveyance who has never fallen in his life. 4lb higher than when notching up the last of those successes at Aintree in June and sent off favourite from today's mark when last seen in September. May run well again but difficult to see him being ready to win first time back.
Has put in a couple of good efforts this season when runner-up twice from 1lb lower than today. Trip is no problem for her, though she has shown her best form so far on ground softer than forecast.
Well beaten on chase debut last time but his previous run when fourth over hurdles at Wincanton has worked out well, with a multiple subsequent winner finishing behind him that day. Market confidence would be a plus.
Looks a very difficult ride on recent evidence, dumping the champ at Bangor in January and then running out with the same pilot up last time. Cannot be fancied at present.
First time in a handicap here and has given punters no encouragement that he is about to come good just yet with a string of moderate displays thus far.
8lb lower here than when and 11L fourth of 10 at Towcester in handicap company in November (3m, good). Not showing enough to have any confidence in him and place perhaps his most realistic hope.
Well beaten or fallen in all three starts since going handicapping and on same mark as last time here. Trip doesn't seem to be a problem and good ground may help her, while interesting jockey booking too. Market check advised.
Runner-up, albeit it beaten 13L, from 2lb higher a couple of years ago, though nothing since then would be of interest coming into this and impossible to recommend.

A poor handicap with doubts about most of them and the suggestion is SILENT WARRIOR, who is now on a mark that can be exploited and with first time headgear aplenty, he may be up to the task. Mount Russell could be a danger now back over hurdles after going well in a race earlier in the season that has worked out well, while Silver Shuffle would be a player if fit first time after a break. Check the market out with regard to Broadway Belle too, as confidence would make her more interesting.
