Won this race last year from 10lb lower and has added further good turf handicaps to his CV in the interim. Unable to cope with Group Three company, but went well in a Listed Lingfield contest last time and this is much more his bag. Back over his optimum trip and from an inside draw he looks to be a leading player.

Did not see a racecourse until last year, aged four, but has won three of his six starts including two on the Tapeta at Newcastle. In the most recent of those he beat a number of horses who he had no right to on official ratings, hence his 16lb hike ahead of this, though you could not confidently rule him out on his first try at this track.

A winner here over both 5f and 6f, his most recent success was in a Chelmsford handicap off 96 back in November. Slight drop in the weights for two subsequent defeats gives him more than just a squeak here.

Well placed to win six of his 13 career starts including one over C&D. 1lb higher than when going close at Haydock in September, his most recent run, but goes very well fresh and likely to be in the shake-up.

C&D winner last April from a 21lb lower mark, showing how much he has improved. Remains competitive from today's pitch, though again ight find a couple too goo.

Was a debut C&D winner before going on to better things elsewhere, the best of which was a valuable Ascot handicap win in July from 7lb lower than today. Subsequent form suggests that the handicapper probably has him for now.

All six career wins have been on turf. Made his Polytrack debut at Lingfield last time and did okay, though likely to appreciate this return to the minimum trip. Should be straighter for that return run and provided he handles this particular surface he can get involved. Yard among the winners.

First-time cheek pieces today for this four time winner who scored over C&D from 13lb lower in 2015. Back on his last winning mark today and drop to 5f looks a plus, so very much respected.

9lb higher than when winning here over 6f in December, having followed up that win at Lingfield next time. Clearly thriving at present and certainly shows enough pace to go well on this first try at the minimum trip, though has a very tough draw.

Chelmsford winner over the minimum trip last summer from 3lb lower and ran well enough from today's mark over 6f back at that track after a break last time. Another with a wide draw to overcome but should run well.

Went close from 9lb higher at Thirsk last spring, but beaten streets during the rest of the summer and returns after a break here with a bit to prove.
