Hasn't won since October 2015, and has never finished in the first two on the AW, but is lightly raced on Polytrack and on the available evidence may prefer this artificial surface to others.
Lightly raced for his age and he ran a great race in second at Wolverhampton two starts ago, before not totally disgracing himself at the same venue last time out. Claims if transferring that form to the Polytrack.
Has run some nice races recently despite being only 1/23 and it's particularly interesting how well he has performed over C&D on his last three appearances. He remains on the same mark as the most recent of those today.
Hasn't shown much on seven starts so far and this drop back in trip seems unlikely to make much difference. Much more needed off his lowest mark yet.
Veteran who has failed to fire since winning at Lingfield last March. Only one of his seven wins have come over this distance and looks best watched despite a slowly sinking handicap mark.
0/15 so far in her career and this follows a disappointing stable debut last time out. Has never looked at her best over this trip either, and is likely to be outclassed by others here today.
Showed some promise on debut in a maiden over C&D but has been disappointing since and will need to return to that form of a year ago in order to be competitive here.
Last won over C&D in April 2015 and has mostly look held since, but being on a handicap mark headed in the right direction at a course he enjoys he could put in a better performance here.
Hasn't been running well since most recent win over C&D last March, but most of that has been over 7f. Step back up to 1m is a positive, but he needs to put recent form well behind him.
Never placed in 26 starts on the AW and turf, and even in the unlikely event he's able to change that today, winning this looks beyond his ability.
Forecasts
Henry Grace (6/4), Bassino (6/1), Mulled Wine (8/1), West Leake (8/1), Palace Moon (8/1), I Can't Stop (8/1), Rocket Ronnie (12/1), Just Fab (20/1), Chandrayaan (33/1), Seamoor Secret (33/1)
HENRY GRACE has improved massively since switching to this C&D and it's notable that connections opt to run him over it for the fourth time in a row, with him placing on all three recent attempts. He remains on the same mark as his recent third and should go close once again. He can overcome the lightly raced Bassino, who could run a big race if he finds this surface to his liking, while West Leake could also be involved at the business end of proceedings at a course he has run well at in the past.
1. Henry Grace
2. Bassino
3. West Leake
