Gelding by Bated Breath who is related to some useful mile and 10f horses. Deserves respect from a yard that can produce one first time up.
Good debut in a 7f Newcastle maiden that is starting to look good form with the first, third and seventh all next time out winners. Shaped well but probably needed the run and more is expected here.
Gelding by New Approach who is a half-brother to the smart Fantastic Pick. Yard not that well known for winners in this sphere though.
Just had the one run so far when well held in a Kempton maiden when slowly away and more to do here.
Made a promising start to his career when second on debut showing lots of ability coming from an unpromising position. Did best of those to come from off the pace and likely to make further progress.
Solid form in three maiden runs and showed his best form last time out at Wolverhampton when second over an extended mile. Would probably be suited by a greater test of stamina but open to further improvement when he does and of interest here.
Sixth foal by Mastercraftsman who is closely related to 5f winner Shanghai Beauty.
Gelding by Duke Of Marmalade who comes from a powerful yard and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of his chance.
Dick Turpin filly who finished last but one on her only start so far and looks more likely to be a long term prospect.
Two solid starts so far with some slight progression on her second run despite the drop in trip which didn't really suit. Should be suited by this first try and a mile and looks capable of better than she has shown so far.

Some interesting types here and this division looks to have a little more depth than the first division of this mile maiden. Special Relation has shown some solid form so far improving with each start but it may well be that a greater test of stamina and handicaps will see him in the best light. Opinionate made a very creditable debut at Kempton when not ideally placed and he is open to further improvement while this trip looks far more suitable for the filly Spinwheel. Debutantes Abaad, Willwams and Trade Route all add to the depth of this contest but it’s hard to ignore the claims of CLOUD DRAGON. Despite only finishing sixth on his debut at Newcastle the form is looking very strong with plenty of subsequent winners from the race and he looks worthy of note here.
