Ran a career best last time out over 5f on the fibresand. 1lb well-in under a penalty here and has form on Polytrack at Chelmsford. The Southwell form has already been given a boost this week with the third winning over 6f at the same track.
Winner over C&D on four occasions now; the latest of those on his penultimate start. Ran well under a penalty last time after just a short break and should continue to give a good account on a track that he likes.
Have to go back to April for her last decent effort when she was second in a small field at Thirsk over 5f. Looked moderate after that and returns from 181 days off here.
Ran well at Southwell on his penultimate start (yet to finish out the frame there) but was well below that form at Chelmsford last time. More needed here to take a hand in the finish.
Winner at Lingfield over C&D in April and also successful at Newbury in June both over 5f. Has run consistently of late in all four starts at Lingfield over 5-6f but was behind Temple Road last time - better off at the weights but does need things to fall his way in running.
Modest win-to-run ratio but better on AW than turf and his last win (July 2016) came over this C&D. Behind Temple Road and Pharoh Jake last time out failing to build on a good run the time before.
Knows this course well having run here 26 times before winning twice both over the 5f. Has work to do with three in this field based on his last run, running below form and looking as though he has gone off the boil.
Plenty of winning form on the AW (all over 5f) with his last win coming in April 2015. Has been dropping steadily in the handicap since then although still looks to be struggling to recover his best form despite the decreased mark.
Likes to go from the front but far too aggressively ridden on his last two starts and looks vulnerable again here to the closers.

Forecasts
Temple Road (6/4), Lady Nayef (11/4), Frank The Barber (6/1), Roy's Legacy (7/1), Pharoh Jake (8/1), Quality Art (14/1), Red Flute (14/1), Excellent Aim (16/1), Ask The Guru (20/1), Misu Moneypenny (33/1)
The form shown by Lady Nayef at Southwell gives her a good chance of following up here and although that was on Fibresand she is one of those rare animals that can act on other AW surfaces having won on Polytrack and Tapeta. The four-time C&D winner TEMPLE ROAD might just hold a little better value though and on a track that he acts well on he’s just given the nod. Plenty of the others have questions to answer, although Pharoh Jake goes well here and may get the run of the race with Quality Art off a mark that reads well if he could return to form.
1. Temple Road
2. Lady Nayef
3. Pharoh Jake
