Things finally clicked for Golden Sovereign when he finally shed his maiden status when drawing nearly 25-length clear of the third when getting into a battle with eventual runner-up. He is respected returned to handicap company, but preference is for TERRIERMAN who is lightly raced and has shown more than enough promise in a trio of decent novice contests to suggest he can add to his yard's 22% strike-rate here and make a seamless transition to the handicap ranks.
