SAMSON has in his last few runs shown an aptitude for fences and a strong pace over this trip with a visor on for the first time may see him in a good light. Alys Rock was given an over aggressive ride last time but if she can be ridden more restraint she’s still on a mark she can win off. The dark horse of the race is Silent Account who will have more chance in handicaps having been highly tried over fences so far with a tongue-tie on for the first time.
