The Poet's Voice gelding shed his maiden tag last month at Carlisle and, while disappointing next time at Beverley, he since looked an unlucky loser over this C&D when close fourth having been denied a run at a vital stage. Monday's Hamilton winner Natajack isn't overlooked easily despite carrying a penalty while Lucky Red will have every chance with a repeat of his Down Royal effort last time, though he isn't the most reliable ensuring Haymarket, second her last time and a former C&D winner, may be a more solid choice.
