Magic Of Light (6/5), La Bella Vida (11/4), Miss Sassie (6/1), My Painter (10/1), Golden Flowerpower (12/1), Kilganer Queen (14/1), Blazing West (16/1), Kilbarry Marien (16/1), Star Counsel (40/1), Field Exhibition (50/1), Athloman Cottage (50/1), Erkindale Lady (50/1), Nancys Icon (50/1), Charlotte's Chum (50/1), Joint Reaction (66/1), Satnav Sally (80/1)

Verdict

Blazing West has enough experience over these obstacles to be respected but she may be vulnerable to a newcomer and could also need the run on her return, so she is bypassed. Magic Of Light had a recent hurdles run to set her up for this and is an interesting newcomer for much-respected connections while the baby of the part, Miss Sassie, is worth considering receiving weight with Russell on top. La Bella Vida made a decent start over fences last month at Sligo to be second, though that wasn't the strongest race and so chasing debutante KILGANER QUEEN, who will have fitness on her side, is given the nod to land a competitive opener.
  1. Kilganer Queen
  2. Magic Of Light
  3. Miss Sassie
