Bagged 5 all-weather wins last winter and capitalised on much lower turf mark when adding to his tally at Ffos Las (7.4f) in June. Seemingly not 100% when last of 10 at Bath (1m) when last seen in September and he's a likely candidate to bounce back.
Winless since 2024 but placed on each of his 3 all-weather outings earlier this year and continued good work back on turf, finishing a length second at Salisbury (6f) in September. Comes here fresh for this time of year and he rates a likely player.
A fair 6f maiden winner at 2 yrs. Resumed with very good second in 6f Pontefract handicap in April but failed to build on that in 4 subsequent runs, disappointing starting out for new yard (gelded) when eighth of 9 at Newmarket (6f) 44 days ago. Cheekpieces go on and too soon to write him off.
Landed back-to-back Kempton handicaps 7 months apart, latterly in May. Winless since but largely held form well in recent months, not seen to best effect having been left poorly placed when eighth of 12 at Kempton (7f) 3 weeks ago. Type to bounce back quickly.
Five-time C&D winner who ended 2025 with success here from a 2 lb higher mark. Struggling for form on turf when last seen during the summer but the return to all-weather can see him in a better light back from 4 months off.
Steadily eased in the weights this year and made most of the drop in grade when doubling his tally at Kempton (6f) in September, getting a good tow into the race and always in control once hitting the front. Claims if backing that up after a 4 lb rise.
A 3-time winner on all-weather this year, the latest over 6f here in July and probably in better heart than recent form figures suggest, racing too freely when last of 11 at Kempton (6f) 4 weeks ago. Handy draw to work from returned to 7f provided he settles better.
Three-time C&D winner who landed this race 12 months ago and posted good runner up efforts back here during the spring. Stepped up on his penultimate effort without finding best form when fifth over C&D 31 days ago and he's down to a handy mark if stepping forward here.
Chester novice winner (6f, soft) last season. Has largely struggled in handicaps this time around but her mark reflects that and she turned in her best effort since when a close third at Doncaster (7f, heavy) 9 days ago. Now her task is to build on that returned to all-weather.

Forecasts
Peter The Wolf (3/1), Sergeant Pep (7/2), Alaminos (4/1), Tonal (7/1), Trust Amy (8/1), Chalk Mountain (10/1), Follow Your Heart (14/1), King Of Chaos (16/1), He's A Gentleman (16/1)
KING OF CHAOS has essentially been in better heart than recent form figures would suggest and, having fallen to just 1 lb above his last winning mark, Dylan Cunha's dual course winner could provide a spot of value returned to 7f. Sergeant Pep and Peter The Wolf are likely dangers, with Alaminos not one to write off just yet.
