Struggled on turf over the summer but landed a gamble returned to all-weather when winning a 10-runner handicap at Kempton (6f, 15/8) 26 days ago. Up 3 lb but suspicion is that might've been the time to catch him.
Successful from a 2 lb higher mark at Windsor (6f) in May. Not replicated that form since but is best excused his latest run in a big-field handicap at Ascot having had little chance from his draw (did best of those who didn't race near side). This is a handy drop in class.
Versatile sprinter who gained a fourth a success of 2026 at Salisbury (6f) in August. Essentially remained in good order, third at Chester prior finishing 3 lengths fifth of 14 back at Salisbury (6f) 4 weeks ago. Each-way claims from a mark that looks about right.
Both wins on all-weather but proved himself just as effective on turf when posting a good second at Hamilton (6f, firm) in May. Joined new yard for 47,000 gns in July but went backwards from stable debut effort when ninth of 11 over 7f here 3 weeks ago. Quickly reverts to sprinting.
Two-time 7f winner who hasn't had many goes at sprinting and she caught the eye having met with trouble when fourth at Salisbury (6f) 4 weeks ago, forced to switch/hampered before staying on. Certainly worth a second look on the back of that.
Ended a fine 2025 campaign with success in Ayr Bronze Cup. Hasn't fared anywhere near so well this time around, though, and he was well beaten minus usual hood (refitted here) in this year's corresponding race. Handicapper affords him a 5 lb drop but others look stronger.
Revitalised in a switch of headgear when recording back-to-back victories at Redcar/Yarmouth and just seemed caught out by the drop to 5f when fourth in hat-trick bid at Leicester (5f, heavy) 5 days ago. Clearly taking his racing well and return to 6f can see him in a better light.
Useful 5f winner in 2025 but hasn't been the same force despite a sliding mark this season, not seeing his race out when eighth of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (5f) 2 weeks ago. Afforded another 2 lb drop now but others boast more solid claims.
Didn't fire in 2025 but has returned in good heart this season and he built on a string of placed efforts when resuming winning ways at Leicester (6f) in September. A slow start back at 5f did him no favours when down the field at Haydock since but he's a likely candidate to bounce back.
Signed off 2025 with success in this race from 9 lb higher and looks to be coming to the boil at just the right time, finding a well handicapped, subsequent winner too strong at Leicester (6f) 18 days ago. On a good mark and he ought to make a bold bid.

Forecasts
Purest Time (10/3), Lyra Lea (5/1), Dashing Dick (11/2), Winged Messenger (7/1), Venture Capital (7/1), Wodao (7/1), Supreme King (9/1), Harry's Halo (16/1), Back To Me (18/1), Star Chorus (20/1)
Last year's winner DASHING DICK found only a fellow well-handicapped rival (who has gone in again since) too strong at Leicester on his most recent start 2 weeks ago and he makes plenty of appeal at the foot of the weights. Salisbury eyecatcher Lyra Lea is still lightly raced at sprint trips and may emerge as the leading danger, with Purest Time and Wodao completing the shortlist.
