Margot Mae^p¹²

Age: 2| Weight: 9-12| J: Nathan Crosse| T: Mrs J Harrington| OR: 70

11/4

Close third in 7f maiden at Leopardstown in June but she hasn't come close to reproducing that in 4 subsequent outings. This does represent a much easier assignment.

Wecouldavehaditall^h1²⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 9-10| J: Paddy Harnett⁽³⁾| T: Daniel McLoughlin| OR: 68

13/8

Improved for the step up in trip/switch to more positive tactics (set a sound gallop) when 1½ lengths third of 13 on nursery debut at Naas (1m, good to soft) last month. Not in quite the same form back in a maiden since but given another chance to show she can win off this mark. Hooded first time.

Form: 90736

Gabby Hayes¹³

Age: 2| Weight: 9-9| J: Chris Hayes| T: N Meade| OR: 67

8/1

Third of 10 on nursery debut at the Curragh (7f, heavy) but failed to back it up on all-weather at Dundalk since. May fare better back on turf in the mud.

Form: 96630

Miss Cornelia⁶⁰

Age: 2| Weight: 9-9| J: Gary Carroll| T: J G Murphy| OR: 67

10/3

Minor promise only in her qualifying runs, eleventh of 15 in maiden at Cork (1m, good to soft) 60 days ago. Makes handicap debut.

Form: 670

(4)

Knockraha Pa²²

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: Robbie Colgan| T: M J Smith| OR: 63

20/1

Down the field on all 3 qualifying runs but handicaps provide him with a much more realistic chance of success.

Form: 000

(2)

9/1

Forecasts

Wecouldavehaditall (13/8), Margot Mae (11/4), Miss Cornelia (10/3), Melchizedek (11/2), Gabby Hayes (8/1), Darlene (9/1), Knockraha Pa (20/1)

WECOULDAVEHADITALL wasn't in top form back in maiden company 3 weeks ago but this looks a nursery there for the taking from her current mark. Margot Mae will find this easier than the nursery she contested at Leopardstown last time and she's feared most.
