Veteran who landed a gamble in the mud at Hamilton (5f) last month. Has failed to back that up twice since however, including at Redcar on Monday. Could bounce back.
Has benefited from the cheekpieces going back on this summer, doubling his tally for the season over C&D in July. Form has been a little up and down more recently, though, below best when eighth at Pontefract (5f) 3 weeks ago. Record on ground softer than good isn't inspiring, either.
Hasn't gone on since handicapping and needs to show more before becoming of interest, for all the assessor has given him some further help. Engaged 3.00 Redcar Monday.
Largely consistent filly who has scored 3 times over C&D this year, latterly when making all from 3 lb lower in September. Not at best when fourth behind a subsequent winner at Beverley (5f) 5 weeks ago but better showing anticipated back here for all her present mark demands a bit more.
Has struggled this season but did at least show a glimmer of promise when fourth of 9 in a C&D handicap 2 starts back. However, looked less than straightforward in refitted cheekpieces when fifth at Hamilton since. Reapplication of a tongue strap may help (fitted for sole success).
Successful from 5 lb higher mark at Hamilton last summer and best effort of present campaign when third at Redcar (6f) in July. Respectable efforts on 2 of her 3 starts since, equipped with blinkers when fifth at Newcastle (6f) 2 weeks ago. Respected in refitted cheekpieces.
Made the frame 4 times earlier this season and with her penultimate run easily forgiven, she justified support when shedding maiden tag over C&D 4 weeks ago, staying on to lead dying strides. Raised only 2 lb but wouldn't be an obvious follow-up candidate.
Losing sequence now stands at 33 but he bettered his recent exploits on all-weather when second in 14-runner handicap at Nottingham (6f) 3 weeks ago. Forecast conditions hold no fears and he's an each-way player with a repeat.
Back-to-back wins last autumn, including over C&D. Lightly raced this season but performed creditably after 4 months off when fourth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7f) 2 weeks ago. May sharpen up for that effort and claims in an open race.
Successful from a 2 lb higher mark for Ewan Whillans last summer and essentially holding form well upon joining present stable, not disgraced when sixth of 16 in handicap at Redcar (6f) 7 weeks ago. Another holding each-way claims.

Forecasts
Battenburg Belle (10/3), Blue Jay Way (5/1), Barmyblade (11/2), Impressor (13/2), Stormy Pearl (9/1), Ottawa (10/1), Desert Master (10/1), Wait For It (11/1), Stoneywell (12/1), Pinpoint (25/1)
BATTENBURG BELLE wasn't at her best at Beverley when last seen but Rebecca Menzies' 3-time C&D winner has been given a short break ahead of this and may well bounce back with forecast conditions holding no fears. Impressor, Blue Jay Way and Desert Master are others to keep an eye on.
