Winner at Jebel Ali for Doug Watson a year ago. Well held at Meydan on next 2 outings but he offered something to work on starting out for this yard after 9 months off at Nottingham 23 days ago (went clear at halfway). Drop back in trip will suit but still has to prove he handles the mud.
Low mileage 4-y-o who popped up with autumn/heavy-ground wins previous 2 seasons, including a division of this race 12 months ago. Emerged with credit when fourth (keener than ideal) at Kempton after 5 months off 31 days ago and no surprise if he left that behind back here.
Has yet to add to his debut success but ended his time with Karl Burke with placed efforts and seems to be building up to something for current yard, making eye-catching headway at Wetherby latest. Return to 7f will suit and tongue strap goes on.
Capitalised on a drop in grade when winning at Pontefract in August. Shaped as if still in form over a trip too far both starts since but more needed to defy current mark.
Looked back to his best when ending losing run at Ayr (heavy) 16 days ago, suited by the strong pace. Capable of going well again but always going to be a bit of a hostage to fortune given his come-from-behind style.
Has improved again this season, landing big-field sprint at York before quickly bouncing back with an excellent close third of 20 at Ripon. 7f on soft ground seemed to stretch him last time, though.
Debut bumper winner. Got off the mark in this sphere (at 150-1) in Carlisle novice in May and has backed it up with solid efforts in handicaps since, catching the eye with a complete change of tactics (held up) when third of 20 at York 2 weeks ago, never nearer and finished with running left.
A 3-time turf winner (at up to 1m) this year. Mixed record since his latest success but he's back on a winning mark now.
Had signalled a return to form in the Legends race here and confirmed that impression when ending losing run in comfortable fashion at Southwell. Never dangerous off revised mark at York since, however.
All 4 career wins at Newcastle but he seems just as effective on turf, beaten only 2 lengths when fifth of 20 at York (soft) 2 weeks ago despite clipping heels and stumbling soon after the start. Not taken lightly eased another 1 lb.
Quirky sort who ended a long losing sequence (in refitted hood) in classified event (Legends) at Doncaster last month (form worked out surprisingly well). Has backed that up back in handicaps since, running on strongly when third of 20 at York (7f, soft) 2 weeks ago.
Landed a soft-ground Pontefract novice on reappearance in April but below that form switched to handicaps since.

Prosperitas (3/1), Freddie Steady Go (4/1), Stanage (9/2), Tolstoy (13/2), King's School (7/1), Kosometsuke (8/1), Feel The Need (10/1), Spirit Genie (14/1), Kody B (20/1), Gold Queen Kindly (22/1), Highland Olly (25/1), Invincible Boy (25/1), Magic Boy (28/1), Itsatenfromlen (28/1)
This looks stronger than the first division with plenty arriving on the back of encouraging runs, including PROSPERITAS, who won a division of this race comprehensively 12 months ago off 4 lb lower. Freddie Steady Go and Gold Queen Kindly are also building up to something so they head the dangers.
