€35,000 No Risk At All gelding was gambled on and shaped with plenty of encouragement when fourth of 12 in a Newcastle bumper on debut in March. Failed to justify favouritism at Kelso next time but was still green and retains potential now sent hurdling.
60,000 gns purchase after winning an Irish point at the second attempt and offered something to work on when a place behind Dilrisk in a Newcastle bumper on debut in March. Failed to progress at Kelso next time though, and will need to raise his game now switching to hurdling.
£12,000 3-y-o, £26,000 5-y-o, Jukebox Jury gelding. Dam (h99) 3m hurdle winner. Progressive young pointer, successful on 3 of last 4 starts. Yard also runs Striking Midnight.
Runner-up sole start in an Irish point. Promise when fourth in a Carlisle bumper and 2m Ayr maiden hurdle on first 2 starts for Donald McCain but has been most disappointing on both outings since, labouring after the eighth at Bangor when last seen. Has had a breathing operation.
£58,000 purchase after getting off the mark in Irish points at the fourth attempt last May but looks more of a longer-term project judged on his efforts at Kelso and Ayr last winter.
£70,000 Jet Away gelding. Dam, ran once over hurdles, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 2½m) Gus Macrae and fairly useful hurdle winner (stayed 2½m) Victory Mill. Won sole start in Irish points (Dec 2025). Wears tongue strap for Rules debut having already had a breathing operation.
€62,000 3-y-o, Arrigo gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including smart hurdler/chaser Inthepocket. Has a good pedigree and needs a close look in the betting.
£24,000 Arrigo gelding who finished runner-up on his sole start in points and shaped like a stayer when third of 7 in 2m bumper at Hexham (good to soft) in April. Possibly more one for handicaps and/or longer trips later on.
Smart on Flat for Ralph Beckett in 2025 (stays 1½m). Subsequently sold for 580,000 gns and is fascinating hurdling newcomer. Wears a tongue strap.
Jet Away gelding who showed promise when placed in a pair of junior bumpers last season. That's a sound platform on which to build now going jumping.
£3,000 5-y-o, Shirocco mare. Half-sister to fairly useful 23f hurdle winner Chigorin and fairly useful hurdler/chaser Le Coq Hardi. Unplaced completed start in Irish points (May 2026).
Has struggled for form on the Flat for Matt Crawley this year and fared little better reverted to hurdles at Hexham recently.
£7,000 4-y-o, Sholokhov filly. Closely related to fair 25f hurdle winner Additional Time. Fourth of 6 finishers only start in Irish points (Apr 26). Wears a tongue strap.

Forecasts
Push The Limit (4/5), Johnny Moonshine (11/2), Farfromaway (13/2), Dilrisk (7/1), Watery Borren (17/2), Aye Over Tee (12/1), Striking Midnight (28/1), Eagle Warrior (33/1), Old Comrades (80/1), Moorhead (80/1), Cinnamon Storm (200/1), Argentum (250/1), Lecanvey Lady (300/1)
It's hard to look past PUSH THE LIMIT, who admittedly has a year-long absence to overcome on his hurdling debut but showed smart form on the Flat for Ralph Beckett in 2025 and was sold for a whopping 580,000 gns. Aye Over Tee is bred to make a useful jumper and warrants a close look in the betting, while Dilrisk and Striking Midnight are a couple with frame claims having shown some promise in bumpers last season.

- Dilrisk7/1
