11/2

Progressive 2-y-o who has found only stablemates too strong in nurseries on each of his last 2 starts, beating a short-head by Celestial Crown in C&D event a fortnight ago. First-time blinkers replace cheekpieces as he steps back into maiden company.

100/1

What's This¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Orla Tynan⁽⁷⁾| T: A Slattery

100/1

Cheap purchase who has been well held on both starts in maidens. Gelded after debut.

Form: 70

(2)

Villaray⁶²

Age: 2| Weight: 8-13| J: Colin Keane| T: G M Lyons

4/1

Showcasing filly who stepped up on debut effort when 2¾ lengths third of 14 to So Lovely in 7f maiden at Leopardstown last time. Clearly open to further progress, but bred more for stamina than speed, so the drop to a sprint trip raises a concern.

Form: 83

(3)

Miss Mona Keeba¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 8-11| J: Andrew Slattery| T: A Slattery

10/11

Calyx filly. Attracted support and shaped very well when short-head second of 21 to Layla Belle in C&D maiden on debut, collared dying strides after being front earlier than ideal. Entitled to do better and bold bid looks assured.

Form: 2

(13)

Tequila Belle¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 8-11| J: Leigh Roche| T: A Slattery

9/1

Ardad filly. Shaped well when 3 lengths fourth of 21 to Layla Belle in C&D maiden on debut. Should do better and very much respected.

80/1

Foaled February 18. €2,500 yearling, Dawn Approach filly. Sister to 1m-9.4f winner abroad Mezvirag. Dam, 1¼m-1½m winner, sister to smart 1m-10.7f winner (stayed 1¾m) Paene Magnus. Shaped as if in need of experience when 8 lengths seventh of 13 to Formous in maiden at Naas on debut.

Form: 7

(5)

Hazy Sky¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 8-9| J: Reese Holohan⁽⁵⁾| T: K J Condon

80/1

Bred to be sharp but has looked in need of experience on both outings to date and is probably one for nurseries after this outing.

Form: 70

250/1

Elzaam filly who has looked very green when well held both starts in maidens.

Forecasts

Miss Mona Keeba (10/11), Villaray (4/1), Prince Of Peppard (11/2), Direct Action (6/1), Tequila Belle (9/1), Starlit (12/1), Byzantine Gold (18/1), Creature Of Habit (25/1), Queen Of The Andes (33/1), Always Changing (50/1), Camhaoir (80/1), Hazy Sky (80/1), What's This (100/1), Sevengrandchildren (100/1), Professor Finnegan (125/1), Lori Darlin (250/1)

MISS MONA KEEBA shaped very well when second of 21 over C&D on debut a fortnight ago, travelling best before perhaps going on too soon, and with improvement expected she is fancied to go one better. Tequila Belle is feared most after finishing a couple of places behind her that day and Villaray also respected despite the trip possibly being on the sharp side.
