Top-end handicapper who posted a cracking second in the Golden Mile over C&D in July. Not been in same form since but is 3 lb lower now and can't be discounted.
Dual winner for Sylvester Kirk in 2024 who bounced back to best for current yard when readily winning 11-runner handicap at Haydock (7f, soft, 5/1) 36 days ago. Raised 9 lb since but merits consideration nonetheless.
Highly tried and not successful since winning a couple of novices as a 3-y-o. Back in handicap company now but remains hard to recommend.
Took another step forward when digging deep for success in the Lincoln at Doncaster on return in March but proved disappointing since. Work to do.
Capped a productive 3-y-o season with a hat-trick success at Haydock this time last year. Yet to score this season but matched best effort, in first-time cheekpieces, when third of 9 in handicap at same course (1m, soft, 7/2) 15 days ago. Respected.
Won on return at Chester in May and run creditably in defeat on 2 of his next 3 starts. More recent efforts have not been as encouraging, however.
Posted promising fourth on return at this course in May and has upped his game gradually since, latest when creditable fourth of 14 in handicap (9/4) at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) 28 days ago. Hood on first time. Ought to go well again.
Good looker as a juvenile, winning 3 of his 5 starts (all over 6f). Back on the up second start this year and matched that form, back from 8 months off, when creditable fifth of 12 in handicap at Newmarket (7f, firm, 7/2) 15 days ago, finishing with running left. One of likelier contenders.
Dual winner earlier this year who found a chunk of improvement when landing 14-runner handicap at Ayr (1m, heavy, 16/1) 22 days ago, suited by increase in trip. 6 lb higher now but is one for the shortlist.
Smart sort at best but hasn't scored since 2024 and not returned from a stint in Australia in much form, latest when well held at Doncaster last month.
Pitched in deep after winning a Salisbury maiden on debut last summer but ended campaign with good fourth in conditions event at Newbury (1m) in September. Not fired in a couple of outings earlier this year but been gelded since and yard is in much better form now. Worth a check in the market.
Three wins over the extended 7f at Chester since June, finding significant improvement when scoring with plenty to spare on latest occasion. Handicapper had his say since but she looks a major player here.
Placed on first 4 starts and has shaped promisingly sent handicapping the last twice, never-nearer fifth of 19 over this trip at York's Ebor meeting. Could be a player here.

Forecasts
Wechaad (4/1), Crazee Icon (5/1), Naval Light (11/2), Sword Maker (6/1), Brian (6/1), Eternal Force (7/1), Cerulean Bay (10/1), Storming Point (12/1), Urban Lion (16/1), Supido (25/1), Balmacara (33/1), Goodwood Galaxy (33/1), Al Mubhir (50/1)
Plenty with claims here, including CRAZEE ICON, who got back on the up in no uncertain terms at Chester last time and remains feasibly treated. Brian and Naval Light head the list of dangers.
