Sea The Stars colt who showed ability amid greenness when second on debut and he built on that despite still looking a work in progress when defeating a subsequent winner in a Doncaster maiden (1m) 4 weeks ago. Scopey sort who promises to do better again but Buick opts for Rock Montreal here.
Son of Mehmas who proved steadily progressive in trio of novice events, comfortably got off the mark at third attempt in a Pontefract (6f) in June. Exceeded expectations somewhat when fifth in the Acomb at York but below that level either side of that effort. Looks up against it. Has been gelded.
Make Believe colt who showed by he'd been so well backed at Goodwood when blowing apart a big-field York nursery (7f, soft) in August. Similar form when fifth in Group 3 Solario Stakes at Sandown (7f) since, looking ready for this step up to 1m given how he finished his race off.
Confirmed debut promise in no uncertain terms when running out a 6-length winner of a Lingfield maiden (7f) in May. Struggled (keener than ideal) in Superlative Stakes next time but back on track following a break when second in Tattersalls Stakes over 7f here 16 days ago. Could do better at 1m.
Imposing son of Blue Point who had little trouble landing short odds on debut at Yarmouth (7f) and took a sizeable step forward pitched in to listed company when staying on strongly for second at Doncaster (7f) 4 weeks ago, conceding first run. Remains potentially smart and big player upped to 1m.
Wootton Bassett colt who quickly resumed progress when landing 6-runner listed event at Gowran (1m) and further improvement when finding only Desert Castle too strong in Group 2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster (7f) 4 weeks ago. Appeals as the type to do better still and shortlisted back at 1m
No Nay Never colt who had the best form of those that had run and he improved a little more when off the mark at third attempt in a 7f maiden here 2 weeks ago, defeating a subsequent winner in the process. Very much the type to do better but this asks a much bigger question up in class.

Forecasts
Rock Montreal (11/8), Sergei Diaghilev (5/2), Notable Dream (7/1), Al Jabbar (8/1), Sole Ambition (8/1), Mia Fantasia (14/1), Clash Of Hearts (33/1)
ROCK MONTREAL took a while to hit full stride and conceded first run but was noted finishing strongly when finding only one too good in listed company at Doncaster 4 weeks ago. He remains potentially smart, not least now tackling 1m for the first time and he rates a major player on his foray into Group company. Sergei Diaghilev found only Godolphin's Desert Castle too good in the Champagne Stakes and he's a major threat with the promise of more to come.
