Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: Niall Moore⁽⁵⁾| T: I Madden

Fair maiden at best on Flat (all-weather). Has failed to complete in 2 maiden hurdles (for new yard latest). Hood/cheekpieces go on.

Form: 7/9-PU

Leva Eagle²⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Evan Nugent⁽⁷⁾| T: N Lee

250/1, little promise in novice hurdle here on debut last month.

Form: 0

Mystic Bridge⁴⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Philip Donovan| T: V T O'Brien

125/1, well beaten in Killarney bumper on debut in August.

Form: 8

N Kelleher^h1

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Cian Quirke| T: M J McDonagh

Ocovango gelding. Dam unraced out of sister to useful staying chaser Mondial Jack and half-sister to very smart French staying chaser Grey Jack, from family of useful hurdler/chaser up to 2½m Granit Jack. Hood fitted for debut.

Passive Idaho^h1

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Phillip Enright| T: N Lee

Idaho gelding. Dam unraced daughter of temperamental winning 2m hurdler Vocative. Wears hood.

Suresuresure¹⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: J J Slevin| T: John F O'Neill

Caught the eye when seventh of 17 in maiden hurdle at Listowel in May, finishing with running left. Hasn't achieved much in 2 starts since (Roscommon novice hurdle/Listowel bumper), however.

Form: 8P-0750

The Yellow Capri

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Alan O'Sullivan⁽⁵⁾| T: E M O'Sullivan

Capri gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including fairly useful 2½m hurdle winner Global Fame and fairly useful hurdler President Scottie. Some appeal on paper.

Young Rebel⁶⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Mark Walsh| T: E Mullins

Justified support on debut when producing a strong late surge to land a Fairyhouse bumper in November from a subsequent Grade 2 winner. Picked up by top owner out of the Margaret Mullins yard after and shaped well in 17f maiden hurdle here in August. Wants further but is sure to improve. Big shout.

Form: 1-5

Baila Conmigo¹⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 11-11| J: Eoghan Finegan⁽⁵⁾| T: Ciaran Murphy| OR: 112

Fair 3-time winner over middle distances at Dundalk and back on the up in this sphere when fourth in eventful maiden at Downpatrick (2¼m) 3 weeks ago, no extra in the final 1f (lost 2 places close home) after making most until then. Drop back in trip will suit and can go well.

Form: 444

Blues Street¹⁶⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 11-11| J: Kieren Buckley| T: G P Cromwell

Blue Bresil gelding who did no more than hint at ability when mid-division in a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan on debut in April and is probably one for handicaps later on.

Form: 7-

Born De Ceres¹³

Age: 4| Weight: 11-11| J: Danny Gilligan| T: P J Gilligan

Tailed off in a Punchestown bumper in February but showed a bit more in 2m Listowel maiden hurdle a fortnight ago. Likely to need more time.

Form: 6-7

Direct Approach^p⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 11-11| J: Jack Kennedy| T: G Elliott| OR: 100

Seemed more straightforward in first-time cheekpieces when second to promising winner in 2m Roscommon maiden hurdle last week but his wait for a first victory seems set to continue.

Form: 9-63592

Galway Star¹²

Age: 4| Weight: 11-11| J: Daniel King| T: E McCarthy

100/1, never dangerous in Listowel maiden hurdle on debut a fortnight ago.

Form: 0

Mister Class

Age: 4| Weight: 11-11| J: Keith Donoghue| T: G P Cromwell

Telecaster gelding. Half-brother to French hurdler/chaser Le Philosophe. Dam 1½m/13f winner in France. One of 3 runners for Gavin Cromwell and Keith Donoghue rides. The market could guide.

Storm Bresie¹⁴⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-11| J: Ross Sugrue⁽⁷⁾| T: P J Rothwell

€40,000 buy. Maiden pointer, third last time (May 2026). Might need more time.

Hometomayo¹⁷

Little impact in various company.

Form: PP-4070

Lil Soldier¹²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Sean Flanagan| T: E McNamara

Yard has had success with this family and she showed a bit on her belated debut at Listowel a fortnight ago, never on terms but not unduly punished. Entitled to improve.

Form: 7

Alberta Rose¹⁹⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 11-4| J: Sam Ewing| T: D G Murphy

Well held in a Naas juvenile hurdle and Limerick listed bumper.

Form: 75-

Forecasts

Baila Conmigo (9/4), Direct Approach (5/2), Young Rebel (3/1), Mister Class (5/1), Carrig Padraig (6/1), The Yellow Capri (20/1), Blues Street (25/1), Alberta Rose (25/1), Storm Bresie (25/1), N Kelleher (33/1), Passive Idaho (33/1), Suresuresure (50/1), Lil Soldier (50/1), Muchluain (50/1), Born De Ceres (100/1), Galway Star (100/1), Hometomayo (100/1), Kidam Roque (150/1), Mystic Bridge (150/1), Leva Eagle (200/1)

YOUNG REBEL will benefit from a stiffer test but he made an encouraging start for his new connections in a stronger event here 2 months ago and this could be a good opening for him. Baila Conmigo got back on track at Downpatrick and can go well for his in-form yard. Mister Class looks the pick of the newcomers.
