Didn't manage to win for Jessica Harrington in Ireland but put that right on first start for new yard when landing 10-runner handicap at Chester (14.4f, heavy, 9/1) 8 days ago, well on top finish. Clearly handles deep ground well and big shout again on back of a 4 lb rise.

Steadily progressive in handicaps on turf this summer, bringing up the hat-trick at Lingfield (2m) in August. Made the frame both starts since, having every chance when third of 6 at Kempton (2m) 3 weeks ago. Current mark does look to demand further progress now, however.
|
A fairly useful but inconsistent hurdler nowadays who hasn't gone without promise in a trio of novice events at up to 11f for new yard in recent weeks. Tongue strap quickly reapplied for handicap debut off what could well prove a lenient opening mark. One to monitor in the betting for clues.
|
Fair form on Flat in Ireland and much improved following yard switch over hurdles last season, winning 3 times, latterly at Kelso (2m) in March. Struggled up in grade on final start but returns to this sphere from what could prove a very lenient mark given hurdle exploits. Has gone well fresh.
|
Resumed her progress for current handler with most emphatic success in 10-runner handicap at this course (1½m) last month and posted good second here next time. Exploits have proved mixed since and forecast conditions have to be a concern having finished well held on soft ground here 6 days ago.

Forecasts
Campeona (2/1), Queenie St Clair (2/1), Carthusian (9/4), No Ordinary Joe (11/1), A Daughters Love (16/1)
QUEENIE ST CLAIR is potentially very well treated from a mark of 60 back in this sphere given her exploits over hurdles for Nick Schofield last winter and she could well be worthy of siding with having gone well fresh previously. Carthusian proved yet another good advert for the Jennie Candlish team when making a successful yard debut at Chester 8 days ago and rates next best. No Ordinary Joe is one to monitor on handicap debut in this sphere from what could prove a lenient opening mark, too.

- No Ordinary Joe11/1
