Looks to have been brought along gradually in a trio of maidens so far, dropped back to 6f when sixth of 8 at Cork on latest outing. Will be of more appeal in handicaps.
Shaped with plenty of encouragement when second of 11 in maiden at this course (7f) on debut last month, nearest at the finish. Can make a bold bid with improvement to come.
Hinted at ability first time up when seventh of 11 in maiden at Naas (7f) 9 days ago, nearest at the finish having had to pick way through. This run should reveal more dropped in trip.
Attracted support and ran to a fair level on debut when seventh of 16 in maiden at this course (7f) 5 weeks ago. Clearly thought capable of better so he could be in the mix this time around.
Made an encouraging debut when second of 8 in maiden at Cork 17 days ago, travelling well for a long way behind an above-average prospect. Entitled to take a step forward from his first run.
Foaled March 27. 17,000 gns yearling, €13,000 2-y-o, Harry Angel gelding. Dam 1m/8.3f winner from a very good family. Has a useful standard to aim at on debut.
Always behind in C&D maiden on debut and fared no better when well held at Naas 9 days ago. Looks to be up against it.
Big effort pitched into a Group 3 on debut when beaten only a neck by subsequent Queen Mary winner Victorious at Naas in May. Hasn't built on that effort since, though faced a stiff task in the Moyglare here (7f) 13 days ago. Respected in these calmer waters.
Foaled May 5. €10,000 yearling, Space Blues filly. Half-sister to several winners, including smart winner up to 7f Hamza (2-y-o 5f winner) and 7f-8.6f winner Grandstand. Dam maiden (stayed 1m) half-sister to very smart 5f/6f winner Dandy Man and smart 5f/6f Anthem Alexander.
Some encouragement on debut and stepped forward from that effort when 3¾ lengths eighth of 14 in maiden at Leopardstown (7f) 5 weeks ago. Will need to find more again in this contest.
Foaled March 21. Nando Parrado filly. Dam 6f winner. Faces a difficult task making her first start.
Foaled February 5. Ten Sovereigns filly. Dam unraced half-sister to smart winner up to 6f Encrypted out of useful French 1m winner Disclose. May just be better for this first experience.
Wasn't seen to best effect in valuable sales race at Naas on debut in August. Shaped as if amiss when eased off at Dundalk 6 weeks ago, but she's worth another chance to build on her initial promise.

Forecasts
Benown (8/15), Controlla (10/3), Heralds March (11/2), Sonny Hayes (8/1), Jungle Wise (10/1), Katty (28/1), Starlit (33/1), Shake It Out (50/1), Royal Sovereign (66/1), Champion Basma (80/1), Moon Gypsy (100/1), Fen Phasee (200/1), Ar Son Na Cuise (250/1), Brageiro (300/1)
BENOWN made a promising start to his career when runner-up here last month, beaten only by a more streetwise rival, and he can build on that effort to go one better. Controlla is feared most dropped into a maiden for the first time, while Heralds March is one to note with his debut run behind him.
