Peterhead Fish Market Handicap

Free-going sort. Suited by a well-run race when notching his first handicap success in this grade at Catterick (7f) last time. There's potential for a good gallop here, and he looks capable of defying a 4-lb rise if things fall right.

Added to a good Ripon record when winning a 1m handicap there in early-July. Hasn't built on that in 3 starts since, though, beaten over 4 lengths in this grade at Newcastle 7 days ago.

Hit and miss scoring at Southwell (7f) in April. No surprise to see hood go on having again looked a difficult ride at Hamilton earlier this month.

Enhanced fine C&D record (31221) when making all in a similar event here in late-June. Type to bounce back from a lesser effort behind Black Storm last time and may well make a bold bid back in 0-65 company.

Versatile, low-mileage sort. Landed a gamble on handicap debut at Ripon (1m). Has placed 3 times in 3-y-o handicaps since, the form of his latest 2-length third at Redcar (6f) reading particularly well. Needs considering on just his second start against his elders.

Without a win since 2024. Underlined his consistency in this grade when 2 lengths third over C&D last time, and he went close on his sole previous start in blinkers (back on instead of blinkers here).

Low-mileage 3-y-o. Sole success came in Newcastle novice in January. Hasn't proved the easiest of conveyances, doing plenty wrong on the back of a breathing operation when last seen at Lingfield in early-April. Bit to prove on her return, for all she's very lightly raced on turf.

Completed a hat-trick at this course last summer (now 4 lb lower). Didn't quite scale the same heights when placing twice last month and was some way below her best over C&D last time.

Hold-up performer. Notched a fourth C&D success when completing a double last month. Sat closer to the pace when beaten 4½ lengths on hat-trick bid here since and may prove vulnerable off the same mark in a better race.

Won a trio of 7f handicaps last summer. Much lower in the weights now and had been shaping as though her turn might not be far away prior to a forgivable run over C&D last time. Respected for in-form yard.
