Snapped a long losing run when winning at Ripon (1¼m, good to firm) in June. Good runner-up efforts at Pontefract and back at Ripon since. Should go well again.
Has had a good spell at Ayr this summer, including a 1m win. Unable to adopt his usual front-running tactics after losing ground at the start when sixth of 9 in handicap at Catterick (7f, good) last Monday (treated as if still in form).
Back on form since tongue tied, winning at Doncaster (1m, good to firm) last month and placed twice at Nottingham since.
Course winner over 12.5f for Dianne Sayer last year but slow starts have often proved costly since, including for new yard here last twice. Down significantly in trip with first-time cheekpieces added.
Returned to winning ways with a narrow success at Wetherby (1¼m) last summer. Below that level since but latest sixth of 11 at Southwell (11f) was a bit more encouraging. Needs to build on that now.
Successful over C&D in first-time cheekpieces (retained since) in June. Three lesser Ayr runs have followed so hopes are pinned on a return to Musselburgh sparking a revival.
Recorded back-to-back wins last summer, including C&D. Back on form with runner-up efforts on his last 3 outings and another bold bid is on the cards.
Sixteen runs since last win in 2025. 4/1, seventh of 8 in handicap at Beverley (1¼m, good) 12 days ago, finding little. Back down in trip. Others are more persuasive.
Isn't an easy ride but has left the impression he's building up to something on most starts for this yard, doing well to get fourth after a very slow start at Ayr (1¼m, good) 14 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Enters calculations.
Just 1 win from 26 starts but has shaped encouragingly at Newcastle and over C&D since undergoing a breathing operation. Capable of having a say if things go right.
Thirteen runs since last win in 2022. 33/1, last of 8 in handicap at Beverley (1¼m, good) 12 days ago. Others are more persuasive.

Forecasts
Yermanthere (11/4), Falcon Nine (10/3), Theme Park (9/2), Motawaared (7/1), Runninsonofagun (8/1), Miners Gamble (10/1), Titainium (12/1), Princess Niyla (14/1), Simple Star (25/1), Mayor Of Maghera (33/1), Langton Wold (66/1)
FALCON NINE has been knocking on the door lately and is taken to get his head back in front. Miners Gamble and Motawaared hardly have bet-compelling profiles but have the ability to play prominent roles from their reduced marks. Yermanthere's good recent spell also earns him a place on the shortlist.
