Consistent performer who gained a deserved success over C&D in February and has continued in good heart, giving best only to a pair in top form when third of 8 in all-weather handicap at Lingfield (1½m) in April. Can't be discounted after a break.

Fairly useful performer for Andreas Wohler in Germany (fourth in the German 2000 Guineas) but nothing like that level for current yard and difficult to recommend until showing more. Down in class today.

Has been holding form well this season, winning twice at Lingfield in the spring and placed on last 2 starts, 2 lengths third of 7 to Tripoli Flyer at Kempton on latest. Should continue to give a good account of himself.

Signed off time in Ireland with victory in a 15-runner maiden at Listowel in September. Yet to fully fire in 4 handicap outings this season, though best excused latest Carlisle effort in first-time cheekpieces (seemed uncomfortable with firmer conditions). Back up in trip but hard to fancy.

Proved hit and miss in 2025, winning handicaps at Windsor and Newmarket (July course), but finishing in the frame only once outside of those efforts from 8 outings. Has been gelded since last seen and makes all-weather debut starting out for new connections after 310 days off.

Won this race last year and also been successful over hurdles here. Didn't offer much on return to this sphere in February and arrives on the back of 2 poor hurdling efforts but yard has been among the winners and he lines up here on the back of a breathing operation. Respected.

Won over C&D in November. Couldn't justify support when no match for resurgent winner at Chepstow second time up this season before flashing tail and backing out of things tamely when below form at Newcastle 3 weeks ago.

Ended 2025 with a small-field handicap win at Lingfield (9f) under Billy Loughnane in August. Hasn't fully fired in 3 outings this spring but back on that winning mark and Loughnane also returns to the saddle. A revival would come as no surprise.

Justified support when taking advantage of reduced mark at Brighton in May and turned in a solid effort off a 3 lb higher mark when 2½ lengths fourth of 7 to Damascus Steel at Goodwood last time. Mark still looks workable but has run poorly on all 3 previous visits to this course.

Landed a gamble on his yard debut (formerly with Clive Cox) in 11-runner handicap at Ripon (1m) in April and got back on the up when winning 7-runner event at Doncaster in June. Backed that up when 3½ lengths third of 8 to Room Fourteen there last time. Upped in trip on all-weather debut.

Nathaniel colt who confirmed debut promise when landing the odds in Wolverhampton maiden and improved again at the second time of asking in handicaps when winning 5-runner event at Windsor on turf debut in June. Back on all-weather and remains relatively unexposed.

Showed ability in each of his first 3 starts, particularly when fourth in a Nottingham novice (1¼m) in May. Didn't improve when ninth of 14 over 1m here on handicap debut but left the impression that didn't get to the bottom of him and looks sure to be suited by this step up in trip.

Verdict

CLIFF DANGER hasn’t set the world alight in 4 outings to date, but he has more than once left the impression there is better to come, including on handicap debut last time. This step up in trip should suit and he looks worth chancing. Yaa Min and Wonder are reliable sorts and head a lengthy list of potential dangers.
