Won 2 of first 3 starts last year, including the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot. Ran well sent handicapping in first-time headgear when third at Sandown in July, despite not seeming ideally suited by the drop back to 5f. Never better than mid-field here last time but has since been gelded.
Not seen again at 2 after finishing midfield in the Coventry at Royal Ascot but returned with an improved effort when fourth of 13 in listed race at Chantilly (6.5f, all-weather) in March. Has gone backwards in 2 runs since, though, and opening mark looks on the stiff side. Blinkers on for 1st time.
Useful sort who won a 7f novice last year. Ran up to his best when eighth of 13 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) on most recent outing but needs more if he's to defy his current mark in a race of this nature.
Has proved well suited by the drop to 6f, easily winning Ripon maiden and Hamilton handicap before pushing Thunder Call close in an often informative 3-y-o contest at York in June. Solid efforts in defeat in good-quality handicaps subsequently and can give another good account.
A winner at 2 yrs who ran about as well as could be expected in the face of another stiff task when sixth of 13 in Group 3 Summer Stakes (50/1) at York (6f, good to firm) 29 days ago. Makes a belated handicap debut and needs more.
Landed a big-field 7f sales race at Newmarket in October but below form in listed races first 2 starts this season. Took a step back in the right direction when sixth of 10 on handicap bow at Windsor in June but ran to only a similar level at Salisbury since. Has left Oliver Cole. Hooded.
Took his record to 2-4 with a useful effort when landing 6f Pontefract handicap on reappearance. Struggled in a much better race won by Thunder Call at York, however.
Wide-margin winner of 6f Kempton maiden on return. Progressed again when following up in 22-runner affair on handicap debut at York (6f, good to firm) in June. Ran at least as well in defeat at Newmarket since and remains open to improvement, with this stiffer track promising to suit.
Confirmed previous promise when off the mark in 6f Ripon maiden in June and progressed significantly to make a successful transition to handicaps at Chester the following month. Run best excused there on most recent start having been lit up after a bump at the start.

Red Spells Danger (2/1), Thunder Call (2/1), May Angel (5/1), American Gulf (10/1), Figjam (11/1), Havana Hurricane (11/1), Grasmere Boy (16/1), Cape Ashizuri (20/1), Jel Pepper (28/1), Shaatir (40/1)
The progressive THUNDER CALL was doing his best work at the finish when third at Newmarket last time and looks the one to be with, especially as this stiffer track promises to suit him even better. Red Spells Danger is likely to be on the premises again, while Anyasi strikes as the type to continue improving now entering handicap company and has to be feared.
