Made all to open his account in a 7f Redcar handicap in May. Much sharper for the fitting of first-time cheekpieces when career-best second (clear of rest) at Leicester (6f) latest. Only picked off by a closer that day, and he may just meet a similar fate here.

Musselburgh novice winner for Kevin Philippart de Foy last year. Respectable start for current yard, though never looked like justifying support following a tardy start at Thirsk latest. Interesting to see if money comes again now eased further in grade.
Much improved in recent weeks, making it a hat-trick of seconds in handicap company behind a well-treated one at Ayr last time (also lost a shoe). Fancied to gain compensation in a race that should set up nicely.
€115,000 Mehmas filly. Placed on each start in novice/maiden company but no impact in handicaps for Dylan Cunha. Still looks a shade high in the weights on first start for capable new stable.
Much improved when second in a Newcastle novice (5f) on final 2-y-o start in November. Hasn't made a significant impact in handicaps this year but forgiven latest when too keen in cheekpieces (now discarded) at Ayr (7f). Returns to sprinting and been given a chance by the handicapper.
Surprise winner (40/1) of 6f Redcar nursery last September. Standout effort this season when beaten less than 2 lengths in this grade at Ripon (6f) last month. Returns to his age group following lesser effort on first try over 7f at Ayr latest.
Modest form at 2 for George Scott. Sold for only 5,000 gns last autumn. Stepped up on return/stable debut when beaten under 4 lengths in 5f course handicap latest. Hard to be confident she'll find the required improvement back up in trip.
Free-going type who's won twice around 7f at Ayr/Catterick. Went off too hard at Leicester (1m) latest. Return to sprinting/sharper track could suit and has a fair record under David Allan.
Low-mileage 3-y-o. Gelded before winning on handicap debut at Newcastle (6f) in March. Backed that up with in-frame finishes at Pontefract/Wetherby prior to a lesser effort on return from 11 weeks off at Nottingham last time. May step forward from that with capable apprentice taking over.
Modest 3-y-o maiden. Looked ready for this step back up in trip when trailing the field at Southwell last time. Yard has better-fancied runner in the race.
