Best effort for a while when scoring with plenty in hand at Redcar 2 weeks ago. Around a length behind runner-up when badly hampered and fell approaching final 1f at York last week but remains of interest off revised mark if none the worse.

Not won since 2024 but has shown he can be competitive from his falling mark in recent months. Trip too far last time.

Six-time winner in Ireland for previous connections but hasn't offered much for this yard this year (often slowly away).

Progressed again when gamely making it 5 wins from previous 7 starts at Doncaster 4 weeks ago under this rider. Also scored over C&D on penultimate start and must be considered in current mood.

€550,000 Night of Thunder colt. Promise shown in 3 qualifying runs but found to have bled on handicap bow last time. Headgear on.

C&D winner on firm in May and quickly back to form when third of 5 here last 2 starts.

Stiff tasks on last 2 starts as a juvenile following a convincing Ascot novice success but has struggled in 4 starts this year and has left Hugo Palmer.

Won at Ayr in May and confirmed he's back to form when second there 12 days ago. Can make presence felt again.

Made successful handicap debut at Redcar on return in April and resumed progress when second at Carlisle. Needs to shrug off a below-par run at Pontefract since, however (beaten before trip was an issue).

Has mostly struggled since his 7f Newcastle win in December. Well handicapped but whether he can be relied upon to take advantage is another matter (often misses the break).
