Showed himself much happier back on the Flat when off the mark at Nottingham 4 weeks ago, pulling clear with the runner-up. Can go well again with extra distance expected to suit (dam 2m winner).

Continues to do himself no favours at the start but he almost reeled in the well-ridden front runner at Hamilton 2 weeks ago and step up in trip could suit.
Fit from hurdling and ran his best race yet when runner-up to a subsequent winner at Hamilton. Close third here next time and possible excuses at Ayr since. Likely to stay.
Struggled in Ireland but proved a totally different proposition when winning first 2 outings for new yard in June. Extended her sequence of good efforts when second at Carlisle 3 weeks ago and she's effective over this far.
Winner of this race last year off similar mark and probably in better form than recent form figures suggest (not so good on turf). Has since had a breathing operation and could be the answer.
On a long losing run and offered little both starts this summer after an absence.
Regressive handicapper who has offered little for current connections, merely passing beaten horses when a hollow second at Catterick latest.
Remains a maiden and has struggled this year.
No solid form.

Forecasts
Is She Now (11/8), Time Turner (3/1), Chambers (4/1), Ned Broy (7/1), Speechman (14/1), Stand Strong (14/1), Arcimboldo (50/1), The Lakes (50/1), Galahad Threepwood (50/1)
Last year's winner STAND STRONG gets the vote back on all-weather but this does look competitive with 4-y-os Chambers and Time Turner still getting better.
