Smooth-travelling winner of York (6f) novice under Jamie Spencer in May. Never involved following slow start in the Norfolk (5f) at Royal Ascot since. Should be seen to better effect back over 6f in a race with plenty of pace on, for all the handicapper hasn't missed him.

Improved considerably on his promising debut fourth when running out a convincing winner of a Leicester maiden (5f) in May. Well placed when 2 lengths fifth in Super Sprint at Newbury subsequently. Step up to 6f around a sharp track should suit, though his opening mark demands more.

350,000 gns Lope de Vega colt. Proved a cut above his rivals when landing the odds first time at Redcar (7f). Outclassed in the Chesham at Royal Ascot subsequently. Will need to improve for the switch to sprinting (dam 2-y-o 6f winner) to be in the shake-up on nursery bow.

Blackbeard colt from a family that connections have had plenty of success. Improved with each of his 3 runs, finishing 1-length second to another one going the right way at Chester latest. That's form to view positively given the timefigure and another step forward should see him in the mix.

Went from last to first to land a strongly-run Bath novice (5f) second time up (Super Tuscan back in fourth). Coltish before beaten 7 lengths in Norfolk Stakes last time. Opening mark doesn't look a generous one, though will at least benefit from step up in trip/pace drawn around him.

Showed plenty of speed when making all in solid course maiden (5f) last month. Confirmed that improvement when keeping on ¾-length second behind more-exposed rival in 3-runner Windsor nursery latest. This is a much deeper event, and he'll need to improve for the return to 6f.

Powerfully-built son of Mehmas. Fared best of the newcomers when chasing home Persian Tiger at York. Progressed both starts since, relishing the step back up to 6f when landing the odds in straightforward style at Pontefract latest. He's open to further improvement from a handy-looking opening mark.

Improving son of Persian Force. Made it third time lucky at Hamilton, having a bit more in hand than the 3¼ length winning margin may imply. Step up to 6f/booking of Ryan both notable positives and starts life in nurseries on a potentially lenient mark. Leading claims.

No match for subsequent Coventry Stakes runner-up at Newmarket in April. Made the most of a good opportunity at Pontefract before following up in good style upped to 6f on nursery bow at Nottingham (third since franked form). Open to further progress and could make a bold bid for a hat-trick.

Wasn't at his best behind Sovereign Glory at Bath second time up. Transformed by gelding operation when impressively winning weak novice at Chepstow (6f) before promising more than he delivered on nursery bow at York. Probably worth another chance in a race that should be run to suit.

On the up since a gelding operation, following up his Nottingham maiden win in good style on nursery debut at Ripon 4 days ago. Hard to rule out further progress now in the groove, though combination of 5 lb penalty/stronger race probably scuppers his hat-trick bid.

Made a winning start in fairly decisive fashion at Hamilton. Hasn't looked the easiest of conveyances both starts in better company since, hanging left in first-time blinkers (now discarded) latest. Switch to handicaps a plus, but remains to be seen if a gelding operation does the trick.

Finished third in a Doncaster maiden that has worked out well before fairly promising fifth in the Woodcote at Epsom. He's looked far from straightforward both starts since, though, latterly when trailing the field on nursery debut at York.

Good-looking type who's probably better than bare form of his 3 in-frame finishes may suggest. Step back up in trip sporting first-time cheekpieces, however, he may be found wanting in a stronger nursery than he need contest.

DUBAI CHAMPION is very much going the right way, and he can land this valuable nursery under Ryan Moore. Improving pair Innichen and The Dancing Pirate appeal most of the other lower-drawn runners, while the abundance of pace among the high numbers should bring Clash Of Hearts firmly into the mix.
