A 4-time winner in France who stepped up markedly on his stable debut when winning 16-runner handicap at Epsom last month. Quickly back on song in a first-time hood when fifth in the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket but up against it from stall 20.

Useful gelding who had some strong handicap form to his name last season without winning. Returned with victory at Kempton (7f) in March but has struggled on both subsequent starts, including at Royal Ascot last month.

Shaped well from a poor draw at Chester on reappearance and bounced back to his best from a career-low mark when second of 14 at Newcastle (7f) last month, headed only late on. Nudged up 3 lb for that near miss but his turn looks near.

Useful in Ireland for Ger Lyons but without a win since his debut and he's offered little in both handicap outings for new connections in recent weeks (hooded). Plenty to prove at present.

Useful 3-time 7f winner when trained by James Owen. Struggled on first couple of starts for new connections but was back to his best when second of 17 at York (7f, good to firm) just under 3 weeks ago, just failing having taken a strong hold. Nudged up only 1 lb and he can feature.

Much improved when landing back-to-back 7f handicaps last spring (including over C&D) and she has returned better than ever, building on her reappearance third and looking unlucky not to prevail when beaten a neck at Newmarket in May. Not so good on the July course since but can bounce back.

Won 3 of his last 4 starts last year and showed first form in 2026 when making all in a 6-runner event at Chepstow (7f) earlier in the month. Ran at least as well in defeat in a much more competitive environment when sixth of 17 at York (7f, good to firm) but a wide stall may cause him an issue.

In good heart out in Dubai earlier in the year, scoring over 1m at Meydan in January. Posted a couple of respectable fifths there subsequently but yet to fire fully since his return. Handicapper drops him 2 lb but may need further help.

Useful gelding who is winless since his 2-y-o days but did manage to finish runner-up on 4 occasions last season. Exploits proved mixed for new yard at Meydan earlier this year (out of depth final start) and shaped as if better for the run after 4 months off at Newmarket (7f) recently.

Has looked a hard ride and despite again showing quirks, proved his talent when on song with a success at Newmarket in May. Extended his run of good form trying a sprint trip for the first time when fourth of 11 at Ascot (6f) earlier in the month and the booking of Buick catches the eye.

Dual winner in Norway who has finished outside the placings only once in 8 handicap starts, doubling his tally in 5-runner event at Ovrevoll (5.8f) last month. Another good effort when second of 9 there (6.7f) just under 3 weeks ago but faces a stiff task here. First-time hood applied.

Raced only 3 times in 2025 but creditable effort when runner-up in listed race at Lingfield second start. Finished down the field in 2 starts at Meydan earlier in the year but took a step back in the right direction having been gelded when tenth of 14 at Newcastle (7f) last month. More needed.

Superstar for connections who landed a sixth course success in Golden Mile last summer. Mixed bag thereafter but confirmed he retains all ability when fifth of 8 at Thirsk in April. Shaped better than the bare result the last twice (badly hampered) and fancied to feature back here dropped 2 lb.

Arrives on the up, finally getting off the mark at Windsor (1m) in May before following up in 22-runner event at York (7f) just 8 days later. Beaten just a neck at Epsom next time and shaped as if still in good form when fifth of 13 at the Curragh (1m) most recently. Considered.

Over 2 years without a win now and was below form without an obvious excuse when fifth of 10 at Newmarket (7f, firm) earlier in the month. Hopes pinned on first-time blinkers sparking a revival.

Ready all-the-way winner of 7f York handicap on final start for Andrew Balding last June (subsequently sold for 190,000 gns) and took a step back in the right direction back up in grade when third of 5 in listed race at Bro Park (7f, good) last month. First-time tongue tie goes on but poorly drawn.

Quirky but talented performer who was narrowly denied a first turf win in last season's Lincoln. Down in the weights and left the impression everything might be about to come together when 3 lengths fourth of 14 to Crimson Spirit over C&D just under 10 weeks ago. Cheekpieces go back on.

Yet another fine advert for his yard, winning 6 times on all-weather between December and March. Has held his form well from higher marks on turf since, almost clinging on having always been to the fore when third of 17 at York (7f, good to firm) recently. In the mix again.

In the form of his life this year and signed off for Denis Hogan with a third claiming win of 2026 at Dundalk (1m) in May. Took a step forward for new connections when winning 10-runner handicap at Kempton (1m) earlier in the month but plenty more needed returned to turf.

Cases can be made for any number of these but at the likely prices it could pay to take a chance on RHOSCOLYN, who has been a superstar for connections over the years and David O'Meara's veteran can record a seventh course success (won this race in 2023). Ryan Moore gets on board Crimson Spirit for the first time, and he looks a big threat, with Pellitory, Bobby Bennu, Goldmoyne and Oliver Show just a handful of others worth considering, too.
