Dual winner last year, earning valuable black-type in 6f listed event at Ripon in late-summer. Creditable fourth on Pontefract reappearance but has failed to match that in a couple of subsequent starts, seemingly crying out for 7f. Hopes pinned on a first-time tongue tie.

€170,000 breeze-up purchase who proved a different proposition, compared to his sole outing last summer, when winning 6-runner novice at Newcastle (6f) in January. Gelded and failed to meet market expectations on return at Catterick (6f) last month but remains with potential now handicapping.

Novice winner at Redcar last summer and all the better for return when fifth at Thirsk in May. Not so good over 6f here last month but there's nothing wrong with his Thirsk third last year behind a couple now rated 100+ and the handicapper has relinquished his grip further. Merits consideration.

Hasn't won since notching his third juvenile success in a course nursery last October but having edged down the weights, signalled he's on his way back when fourth of 13 here (5f, good to firm) last month, faring best of those held up. Not ruled out having fallen below his last winning mark.

All-weather winner over the winter who gained an easy breakthrough success on turf at Yarmouth (5f) in May. Ran creditably upped in class when fifth in 3-y-o "Dash" at Epsom next time but unable to get competitive at Newmarket (5f, good to firm) a fortnight ago. Back down in grade.

Free-goer who opened her turf account at Yarmouth in April and has looked like adding to it of late, losing out by nose at Thirsk last month before another creditable placed effort when third of 8 at Doncaster (5f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Big run anticipated with low draw also in her favour.

Did well to make a winning handicap debut at Pontefract (5f, good) on return last month, leading from the widest stall but still having enough in reserve. Unable to pull off those same tactics at Chester (6f, soft) 6 weeks ago but better expected back on a firmer surface from a low draw.

Finished third on 4 of his 5 starts last year but didn't have a very pleasant experience on reappearance at Thirsk (5f, good) last month, getting upset in the stalls and said to have bled from the nose. Others more appealing.

Encouraging placed efforts in handicaps on first 4 outings this season, clear of rest when beaten only by a big improver at Chester (6f, soft) last month. Latest fifth of 14 here (6f, good to firm) suggests he's still in form (emphasis more on stamina) but this demands a step forward.

Twice a winner against her own age-group this season, most recently at Thirsk (5f, good to firm) last month. Upped in grade and found life tougher when fourth of 8 at Doncaster (5f, good to firm) since so that tempers enthusiasm somewhat here.

Upped his form to get off the mark at Ripon (6f) in April, showing a likeable attitude. Similar form in 2 of 3 subsequent outings, most recently when fourth of 11 at Thirsk (6f, good to firm) just over 3 weeks ago. Hard to recommend back up in grade.

Still a maiden after 7 starts but firmly knocking at the door, finding only a well-backed improver too strong in 7-runner handicap at Nottingham last week. This a better race, but a low draw is in her favour so no reason why she won't go close again.

Forecasts

Dolos Dream (10/3), Explosive Finnish (4/1), Go Vince Go (4/1), Space Bear (5/1), Slot (15/2), Kinnalargy (17/2), Dragon Spin (14/1), Anaisa (22/1), U S S Charleston (25/1), Nursia (28/1), Liverpool Star (33/1), Bravo Hotel (50/1)

Verdict

A tricky finale to solve but preference is for KINNALARGY, who is yet to take off in handicaps but has edged down the weights as a result and there's nothing wrong with the form of his Thirsk third 12 months ago (first and second now rated 109p and 102 respectively). The free-going Space Bear put in another creditable placed effort last time so she heads up the opposition, with Go Vince Go and Slot also fancied to be in the shake-up, too.
