Foaled March 11. 40,000 gns yearling, €70,000 2-y-o, Havana Grey colt. Half-brother to winner up to 6f Fondest Dream. Dam maiden sister to smart 6f-8.6f winner Keystroke. Appealing type on paper and yard have had a few winning newcomers this year, including here with useful prospect Matteo.
Foaled March 31. 37,000 gns yearling, 30,000 gns 2-y-o, Sioux Nation colt. Dam unraced half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Sparkling Beauty. Yard not had a 2-y-o winner for a long time and probably best watched.
Speedily-bred filly who showed a bit behind a smart prospect on debut at Windsor (6f) and improved on that despite still looking green when second in C&D novice a fortnight ago. More to come yet.
Never on terms in a couple of 6f novices and might need more time.
£5,000 2-y-o, Showcasing colt. Dam 7f winner (including at 2 yrs). 25/1, green and beaten long way out in 5f Nottingham novice on debut.
€3,000 foal (private sale), €12,500 yearling, Soldier's Call half-brother to useful 5f winner Master of My Fate. 16/1, very green and never a threat in 5f Thirsk maiden on debut in May. Gelded since.
Placed over C&D first 2 starts and back on track when second at Hamilton (5f) a month ago. Probably vulnerable to a few in this.
Foaled March 6. €10,000 yearling, Invincible Army gelding. Brother to winner up to 6f Vardellinu and half-brother to 7f-1¼m winner Ten Coins. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 5f/6f winner Dark Reckoning. Newcomers from the yard have gone well in this race in recent years.
Promising start behind Pershaada in 5f novice at Goodwood on debut, and having been bought for £380,000 on the eve of Royal Ascot, chased that rival (who finished fourth) home in the Queen Mary, hanging left and beaten 6½ lengths. Obvious claims with her sights lowered here.
Foaled April 5. €37,000 yearling, Ten Sovereigns filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 2-y-o 6f winner Zumbi out of unraced sister to dam of top-class 6f/7f winner Dream Ahead. Connections won this last year with a newcomer.
Foaled February 17. Invincible Army filly. Dam unraced half-sister to smart 5f winner Bilhayl out of useful 2-y-o 6f winner Soraaya. Stable 0-39 with 2-y-o newcomers this season.

Forecasts
Kentucky Rain (1/4), Isca Bay (15/2), Perryston (17/2), Concert Pitch (14/1), Black Velvet Boy (28/1), Scottys Rocket (28/1), Unbeatable Fame (33/1), Mubehir (33/1), Soldier's Echo (40/1), Dorothea Hope (66/1), Articulate (200/1)
KENTUCKY RAIN found the Queen Mary all too much but had previously shaped well at Goodwood and can get off the mark with her sights lowered considerably here. Isca Bay has more to offer and could be the danger, with Unbeatable Fame, Scottys Rocket and Perryston appealing newcomers.
