Continued good run of form with back-to-back placed efforts at Ayr (form ties in closely with Shifter). Weighted to make a bold bid for an elusive first victory.

Reappeared after 12 weeks off an improved filly as she opened her account in 1¼m Nottingham handicap on Friday, typically going pretty keenly but looking well suited by the soundly-run race. Might have more to offer now she's got her head in front.
Won back-to-back Beverley handicaps before having her winning run ended with a whimper at Pontefract (1m) last time. Probably vulnerable off an unchanged mark.
Typically started slowly when 1¾-length fifth on first start in this grade at Beverley last month. Didn't look to be suited by longer trip at Leicester (1½m) subsequently. Some of his better efforts last summer came in a visor (now refitted) but losing run continues to mount.
Wasn't seen to best effect when third in 1m course handicap last month. Did enough to suggest he remains in good heart when respectable fourth in better company at Ripon (1m) latest. Does have form over this longer trip and needs considering back in a 0-55.
Finished ¾-length third behind Off Spin at Ayr penultimate start. Now 1 lb better off with that rival following a creditable fifth over the same C&D 24 hours on. Given longer between race this time, and she may well notch a third course victory.
Justified support in a Wolverhampton classified event last spring. Wasn't disgraced when last seen on all-weather in late-April. Tongue strap (previously worn in Ireland) back on following a breathing operation. Looks worth a market check on first turf start for current yard.
Long-standing maiden. Probably should have finished closer in a couple of low-grade handicaps last month. Seemingly no excuses when well held in classified event at Ayr on latest start, though.

Forecasts
Finally Escaped (11/10), Volenti (9/2), Shifter (9/2), Off Spin (13/2), Pisanello (10/1), Bitacora (16/1), Anificas Beauty (28/1), Pebble Dash (33/1)
Little to separate SHIFTER and Off Spin on the ratings, but the former, a 2-time course winner may just have the edge. Volenti is back on a handy mark and could also feature prominently. Friday's Nottingham winner Finally Escaped may have more to come now she's got her head in front.
