Has a good record on the all-weather, winning at Southwell and over C&D last year. Failed to meet expectations when fourth of 7 in handicap at Lingfield (1½m, AW) when last seen in December. Fitness has to be taken on trust after 7 months off.

C&D winner last February. Made the frame on each subsequent outing since, returning with a third at Chester in May. All 5 career successes have come on the all-weather and can take a step forward with that run under his belt.
Fairly useful gelding on Flat who turned in some creditable efforts for Michael Keady last season. In first-time cheekpieces, third of 5 in handicap hurdle (9/2) at Southwell (2m, good) 45 days ago. Has had a breathing operation ahead of a return to the Flat but isn't one to trust.
Ran to a similar level in handicaps on first 2 starts this season before finishing well held in the face of a stiff task in listed race at Pontefract last month. Back at a more realistic level but more required on what she's shown this season. The cheekpieces are left off here.
Low-mileage 4-y-o who ended 2025 firmly on the up with 2m handicap wins at Kempton and Nottingham in the autumn. Returned this year with a pair of placed finishes albeit taking a strong hold. Takes a step back down in trip but is interesting on stable debut having left Emma Lavelle.
Has generally been holding his form well this season with a trio of placed finishes. Blinkered for first time, probably still in form when fifth at Epsom 16 days ago. Steps up in trip with the cheekpieces back on and has each-way claims.
Relished the step up to 1¾m last season, scoring in clear-cut fashion at Haydock and Chester in September. Back on track when second at Nottingham in May, though flattered to deceive. The cheekpieces go on for the first time and can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
All her wins have come on all-weather, including once over C&D. Returned to form with the headgear discarded when third at Carlisle last month. Is eligible for lesser races but is one to monitor in the market.

Forecasts
St Mawes (11/4), Mersea Island (10/3), Arcturus Flame (4/1), Cabrera (5/1), Heathen (8/1), Dance Time (8/1), Gentle Warrior (16/1), Scottish Anthem (50/1)
ST MAWES has made an eye-catching stable switch and is taken to make a winning start for his new connections stepping back down in trip. Heathen should be competitive now back on the all-weather, while Arcturus Flame can get back on track with the cheekpieces refitted.
