Always Trying Racing Syndicate Handicap

Resumed winning ways at Carlisle in June having slipped below last winning mark. Had every chance when third over C&D 26 days ago. Won this race last year and can go well again.

Thirteen runs since last win in 2024 and has tumbled down the weights since. Probably needed the run when down the field at York on return nearly 3 weeks ago. Steps back down in trip/grade and this run should reveal more.

Has plenty of experience over C&D, winning 3 times, and turned in best effort of the season under a change to front-running tactics when fifth over this C&D 10 days ago. Needs the first-time blinkers to sharpen him up.

Placed 3 times last year for Roger Varian but has made little impression in 3 runs for new yard after a breathing operation. Back down in trip here.

Has yet to make any real impact since sent handicapping and has a first-time visor added here. Steps back down to 1m and gets some help from the handicapper at least.

Opened his account over 8.5f in a nursery at Wolverhampton in December and produced a couple of creditable efforts after. Was too free when last of 5 at Lingfield when last seen in January. Drops back in trip and is one to monitor in the betting after 6-month absence.

Confirmed his positive start in handicaps by winning at Ayr (1m) in June. Seemingly undone by a rise in the weights when beaten just over 3 lengths there 11 days ago. Races off the same mark here but has each-way claims.
