Runner-up in similar events at Tramore in April and at this track in May, producing his best effort on the latter. Below par on Flat last 2 starts but has to be of some interest trying a new trip back in this sphere.

€38,000 foal, £5,000. Affinisea gelding. Winning pointer, runner-up last time (May 9). Seven-year-old. Half-brother to smart hurdler/useful chaser Ashdale Bob. Likely to need the experience.
Plenty of promise when third in bumper on debut back in April 2025. Not in same form in similar event returning this January but merits respect for top connections now making hurdling debut on return from another 196 days off.
11th of 14 in a bumper at Kilbeggan (12/1) 31 days ago, raced off the pace and made no impression. Came in for some market support that day but now tries hurdling.
Third of 9 at Limerick in December but has struggled since and has plenty to prove after pulling up last time.
Castle Du Berlais gelding, five-year-old with no public form to assess.
Placed in each of his 5 maiden hurdle starts through the winter. Fourth of 8 in a Flat handicap at Limerick 27 days ago, using that as a pipe-opener. Returns to jumping with plenty to recommend if lasting out this longer trip.
Better effort over hurdles to date when well-beaten sixth of 15 in maiden at Limerick last time and she needs a lot more with tongue-strap reapplied here.
Berkshire filly. Unplaced completed start in points (May 23). Out of an unraced dam whose half-sister was a fairly useful hurdler who stayed 21f. Should have the stamina for this test but market will likely prove best guide to her chances with tongue strap applied.

Forecasts
Dawn Coming (7/4), Early Dawning (2/1), Tyson Fury (9/4), Happy Me (7/1), Dunaird (40/1), Eyecanboogie (80/1), Roll It Roisin (100/1), Joly Saphir (100/1), Grabat (150/1)
EARLY DAWNING shaped well when third on debut last year, briefly looking best before inexperience took over, and his hurdle bow could see him in a better light following a disappointing bumper effort that can be forgiven back in January. Dawn Coming has been placed in all 5 maiden hurdle starts and returns to obstacles after using a Flat run as a pipe-opener, while Tyson Fury was runner-up here in May.
