Still a maiden but has plenty of creditable efforts in handicaps, including latest 9f Carlisle third. Likely to be on the premises.
A 6-time course winner. Good third over 8.5f here in May. Seemed to find 7.5f on fast ground too sharp for him here last time and better can be expected back up in trip.
Four-time course winner over shorter trips. Creditable fourth of 11 in handicap at this course (7.5f, good to firm) 11 days ago. This longer distance is an unknown, though.
It's now 2 years since his last success but he made the frame on first 4 outings this year, including second over C&D off 2 lb higher in May. Not seen to best effect on all-weather last time and capable of having a say.
The first of back-to-back wins last summer came over C&D. Not at best in recent starts but well handicapped again if staging a revival.
Not straightforward but he arrives on a hat-trick after 1¼m wins at Leicester (good) and Wetherby (good to firm) in June. Still not one for maximum faith but he remains feasibly treated off 4 lb higher.
Hinted at promise in 3 qualifying runs at up to 7.5f and rates a likely improver now handicapping over a trip which is bred to suit. Gets the vote.
Off the mark in classified stakes at Newcastle (1¼m) in March. One of better races on turf when third over 8.5f here (good to firm).
Long-standing maiden who returned to form from out of the blue when runner-up over 8.5f here last month but well beaten on all-weather at Newcastle since.

Forecasts
Lever Up (5/2), Kitsune Power (4/1), Bradbury (9/2), Melting Snow (6/1), Dr Rio (8/1), Star Start (17/2), Sunny Orange (11/1), Wicklow Way (20/1), Mavetheforcebewivu (80/1)
MELTING SNOW is bred to be a good bit better than an opening mark in the low-60s. She caught the eye a bit over 7.5f here last time and, with this longer trip very much bred to suit, she looks worth siding with up against much more exposed opponents. Fellow 3-y-o Bradbury is bidding for a third win in a row and is feared most ahead of Lever Up.
