Foaled February 13. Night of Thunder colt. Top yard has a healthy strike rate with its 2-y-o debutants this year, so has to be taken seriously.

Foaled March 27. Frankel colt. Seemingly the yard's first string on jockey bookings and very much one to note starting out in a hood.

Foaled January 22. €700,000 yearling, Sea The Stars colt. Dam French 2-y-o 1m winner out of half-sister to Lockinge Stakes runner-up Trans Island. Highly respected on debut for all that Billy Loughnane seemingly prefers Ottoman Chief.

Forecasts

Ottoman Chief (15/8), Amir Lehbab (7/2), Arctic Force (4/1), Bulletsnap (5/1), Night Star (6/1), Quest For Stars (18/1), Gerry's Darling (80/1)

Verdict

OTTOMAN CHIEF is seemingly the yard's first string on jockey bookings and is taken to make a successful start to his career. Night Star shaped as well as any on his Newbury debut 4 weeks ago and is expected to take a big step forward, while the selection's stablemate Quest For Stars and Arctic Force are 2 other debutants to note.
