Has been hit with a 6 lb rise for winning a match race under this rider at Yarmouth (7f) last time and while yet to win over 1m, he may be able to set his own fractions here.
Beat a couple of next-time-out winners when recording a third success of the year at Lingfield (good to soft) last month and having since fared best of those held up when third at Kempton (1m), he's expected to be firmly in the mix back down in grade.
Went close in this grade off 1 lb higher mark in late-April. Some mitigation for his subsequent couple of efforts (worst of draw at Chester last time) and could be worth another chance with tongue strap fitted for return to Class 6 company.
Likely to be better for a break having looked out of sorts on the all-weather over the spring. However, it's hard to be confident given he hasn't won on turf since July 2023.
Shade too keen when bidding to make it a Kempton double under a penalty on latest start in early-February. Inexperienced apprentice takes over on return but has at least won off a similar break.
Belatedly opened her account at Bath before running to a similar level when second over C&D last month and still in good form when fifth over an inadequate test at Wetherby (7f) on her latest start. Makes appeal with sights lowered/back over a more suitable trip.
Generally reliable performer who opened his account for the season at Hamilton (1m) last month. However, he probably found the quick turnaround against him over the same C&D on his latest start and has been given slightly longer between races here.
Successful on his latest turf start at Brighton last summer and has had excuses on the all-weather since winning at Southwell in March. Probably the stable second string returning to turf on the back of a short break, though.

Forecasts
Volendam (13/8), Perfidia (3/1), Mariner (9/2), My Boy Harry (8/1), Rusheen Boy (9/1), Bajan Bandit (12/1), Mbappe (22/1), River Wharfe (33/1)
In a race with little separating MARINER, Volendam and My Boy Harry on the figures, it could be worth taking a chance on Jennie Candlish's charge, who drops back down in class following a couple of lesser efforts.
