Won a 1m Lingfield maiden second time up in December but little impact since making a promising handicap debut at Wolverhampton (8.6f) in January, again below best when ninth of 13 in handicap at Kempton (1m) 33 days ago. Blinkers now replace cheekpieces.
Territories filly who shaped fairly encouragingly with a view to stepping up to this trip when third at Goodwood (7f) 17 days ago, noted keeping on well. Worth a second look back down in class.
Posted good placed efforts in pair of Kempton handicaps and bettered what she had achieved previously on turf when fourth at Nottingham (1m) 3 weeks ago. Not ruled out from unchanged mark.
Acquired for 28,000 gns on the back of handicap debut success at Southwell (1m) for Joseph O'Brien in January. Posted a fair second next time and appeared to want for stamina when last of 7 over 11.5f here 5 weeks ago. Marked drop back in trip can see him to better effect.
Won on return to action at Bath (1m) in April. That form didn't really work out but quickly dispelled a lesser effort when second of 7 in handicap at Lingfield (9f, heavy) 16 days ago. Forecast quicker ground will hold no fears and he's got good claims.
Palace Pier filly who showed only modest form in a trio of maiden/novice events and no upturn for switch to handicaps again fitted with blinkers when seventh of 14 at Doncaster (1m) 37 days ago. More needed with cheekpieces replacing blinkers.
Ran up to best on final start for James Fanshawe when second at Wolverhampton (7f) in May. Sold (7,000 gns) thereafter but carried no win threat when fourth over same C&D 3 weeks ago. Needs to step up on that to play a lead role.
Some promise in maidens but yet to improve for switch to handicaps, fitted with a hood for the first time when seventh of 10 at Lingfield (1m) 18 days ago. Blinkers need to have a positive effect now switched back to turf.
Down the field in novice/maidens but proved a different proposition when second on C&D handicap debut last month, just failing. That form has worked out well (third and fourth both won since) and he rates a big player on the back of a 2 lb rise.
Good reappearance third at Southwell in January for James Fanshawe but has offered little in 3 starts for present stable, merely passing beaten rivals when ninth at Yarmouth (7f) 12 days ago.
Soundly beaten in novice events last summer but offered more after 10 months off when fifth on handicap debut at Lingfield (1m) 18 days ago, weakening gradually final 1f. More needed but that does at least give her something to build on.

Forecasts
Mertoun (11/4), Takeitorleaveit (10/3), Blue Celestial (11/2), Feisty Minx (7/1), Amazing Anita (8/1), Palace Artois (12/1), Grey Sands (12/1), Laurasia (12/1), Lordsbridge Bay (16/1), Roserunner (20/1), Inclusive (100/1)
MERTOUN proved a different proposition when just touched off on his handicap debut over C&D 4 weeks ago and with that form having been boosted, he makes plenty of appeal from a 2 lb higher mark with the prospect of more still to come. Takeitorleaveit finished a good second himself at Lingfield latest and is feared, along with Feisty Minx and Blue Celestial.
