Quirky sort but his last 3 visits to Musselburgh have produced a win and 2 seconds, including going down by only a neck on reappearance in April. Not in the same form at Carlisle since but respected back here.
Has dropped a long way in the weights and was perhaps unlucky not to end losing run over C&D in April. Better than the result in defeat 3 times since and remains one who could pop up from his reduced mark.
Has mostly struggled since his 7f Newcastle win last December but he's dropped to a favourable mark as a result and took a step back in the right direction when fifth of 9 over C&D (good to firm) 16 days ago. This 3-time C&D winner is capable of going well if putting his best foot forward.
Twice a winner last year for this claimer. Looked back in form when reaching the frame over 7f at Newcastle and Doncaster this spring and can have line put through his latest run back at Doncaster having been hampered on a couple of occasions.
Yet to score in 2026 but plenty of creditable efforts on all-weather. Did run poorly back on turf at Carlisle last time, though. Cheekpieces back on in place of the blinkers he's worn on his last 17 starts.
C&D winner on good to firm last August. Respectable sixth of 13 on 7f Catterick reappearance but only tenth of 11 at Redcar (7f, good to firm) since.
Shaped well when third on 6f Redcar debut (good to firm) in April but hasn't seen her race out on both outings since. Unexposed but it remains to be seen whether this step up to 7f suits now handicapping.
Still a maiden. Creditable fourth of 11 over 7f at Wetherby (good to firm) in April and had an excuse (met trouble) at Haydock since.
Sole success came at Redcar (7f, good) last July. Back on track with fifth of 12 over 6f there last month but has disappointed back at 7f since.

QAZAQ has had excuses for his defeats since his near miss over C&D in April and is given one more chance off this career-low mark. A good C&D record makes Carolus Magnus a likely threat. Finn Ironside is well capable at this level, while Yaaser comes with risks given his slow starts but is well handicapped again.
