Turned in a career-best effort to belatedly get off the mark at Carlisle (soft) last time, though was all out to hold on in race run to suit, and he now races off 2 lb higher in a deeper race.
Having looked right back to his best when scoring at Yarmouth (7f) on penultimate start, he continued in good heart with a close fourth of the same C&D and should give another good account with Silvestre De Sousa returning.
Lightly-raced maiden who chased home a subsequent winner on handicap bow at Nottingham prior to enduring a troubled passage at York last time, and he's well worth another chance back down in grade.
Fared little better than he had been on the all-weather when well held on return at York, however, he was successful in this race 12 months ago (off a 1 lb lower mark).
Reliable sort who typically ran a sound race when fifth of 22 at York off his lower turf mark last time, and his record over this C&D is excellent.
3-time 6f winner who having left Richard & Peter Fahey (sold 19,000 gns), ran respectably when fifth behind Berry Clever at Yarmouth last time. However, he's been given a chance by the handicapper and could go close on only his second start for an emerging yard.
Last year's Great St Wilfrid winner has been struggling for form of late, though hasn't contested this sort of a grade for a while.
Off the mark following a breathing operation here last summer and having undergone another breathing operation since a below-par return at Pontefract in late-April, he could be primed to capitalise on a handy mark for a yard among the winners.
4-time all-weather winner whose sole turf success came at this course and she should be in the mix again, doing all she could behind a couple of relatively lightly-raced 3-y-os at Lingfield last time.
Doubled his tally in a classified stakes over 1m here prior to finishing second in a C&D handicap last October and while he hasn't fired over sprint trips this year, he looks interesting stepping back up in trip.
Back-to-back Wolverhampton winner at the turn of the year, but he had little excuse when well beaten in a C&D handicap on return to turf last time.
Failed to come on for his reappearance when trailing the field at Ayr last time and remains with stamina to prove over the trip.

Forecasts
Commander Of Life (7/2), Berry Clever (7/2), Pulsar Star (5/1), They All Know Me (11/2), Shazani (13/2), Mystical Storm (10/1), Ziggy's Condor (10/1), Bella Bisbee (20/1), Intervention (20/1), Macedonian (33/1), Follow Your Heart (33/1), Chifa (50/1)
This looks highly competitive and it could be worth taking a chance on MYSTICAL STORM who was successful at this course following a breathing operation last season and may be able to repeat the feat. Ziggy's Condor could well feature prominently on his second start for the capable Adam Kirby yard, while course winner Shazani makes appeal stepping back up in trip.
