Versatile sort was a winner over 6f here last September and proved better than ever when successful at Musselburgh (5f, soft) second time up this season. Needs to bounce back from a lesser effort at Haydock last time, but he should be firmly in the mix if doing so.
Has a good record at this track, and having been keen/caught without cover at Bath last time, he's probably worth another chance back in slightly calmer waters.
Three-time all-weather winner who ran well when fourth in a big-field Ascot handicap on his latest start, beaten only by a trio closer to the advantageous stand-side rail, and this could be his time to land a first turf victory.
Below form both starts since recording a third success over this trip at Wolverhampton in February, latterly when down the field on return to 6f/turf at Ascot.
A 3-time winner over this trip last summer who should come on for his reappearance at Doncaster, and while probably still a shade too high in the weights, he does at least benefit from Billy Loughnane taking over.
Knuckled down well to land his first success away from all-weather (at the seventeenth time of asking) in a fairly useful sprint at Goodwood last time, though he's not entirely straightforward, and contests a better race here.
Returned at top of his game when seeing off The Thames Boatman to notch a fourth career success at Bath in late-April, though he was a tad fortunate (third denied a clear run), and could be vulnerable up in grade off 3 lb higher.
Bolted up at Lingfield on second start of last season, and having returned to form when last seen finishing third of 10 in a fairly useful handicap at Yarmouth in October, he cannot be discounted if ready to roll.

Forecasts
Wheels Of Fire (3/1), Mesaafi (7/2), Hk Fourteen (9/2), Diomed Duke (6/1), Moulin Booj (13/2), The Thames Boatman (17/2), Solar Edge (9/1), Cressida Wildes (40/1)
MESAAFI travelled well when fourth in a competitive handicap at Ascot last time and from 1 lb below his latest winning mark, he could be poised to record a first turf success. Wheels of Fire and Moulin Booj both bring winning course form to the table and are fancied to bounce back on return to this venue.
