Dual course scorer in the autumn but has found things harder since. Failed to see his race out upped to 2¾m last time. This drop back in trip should suit as should the return to 0-105 company so that could spark a revival.
Improved in cheekpieces last 2 starts, winning a handicap hurdle at Newcastle in March before creditable third of 9 at Ayr (2½m, heavy) 37 days ago. Travelled as if still on a good mark last time and he merits plenty of respect once more.
Three wins over fences in spring 2024 but has shown little in recent times, including back over hurdles last time out and he's easily opposed back down in trip.
C&D winner but only tenth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Hexham (2½m, heavy) when last seen 60 days ago. His stable is going well but first-time blinkers need to spark a revival.
Broke duck over hurdles when winning at Catterick in February and performed well when in the frame over C&D the last twice. Likely to be in the mix once more.
Good efforts when runner-up last 2 starts over hurdles and not disgraced over inadequate trip when fifth of 8 in handicap at Hamilton on the Flat when last seen 21 days ago. One to take seriously back up in trip and returned to obstacles.
Hasn't won since 2024 but ran creditably despite inadequate trip when fifth at Hexham 41 days ago. Return to this trip will suit and she can give a good account with claimer back aboard.
Seems to save his best for Hexham, winning a handicap hurdle there in April before shaping better than the result there last time (suffered tack issue). Evidently in good enough heart to figure from this sort of mark if proving as effective at this track.
Ran best race since handicapping when creditable third of 10 in handicap hurdle over C&D (good) 18 days ago, appreciating the switch to front-running tactics and he should be in the mix once more, though ultimately may ideally need 3m to break his duck.
Point winner who has looked one with problems and has shown nothing on last 3 outings Now tries a visor.
On a losing sequence but was twice placed at this trip at Newcastle and Sedgefield in recent months. Failed to stay over further last time but looks weighted to go well returned to 2½m.
Lightly raced and ran best race when sixth of 10 in handicap hurdle over C&D (good) 18 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time and enters calculation, though longer distances may ultimately prove more her thing.

Forecasts
Travis Wheatley (7/2), Newport (9/2), Heart Above (13/2), Stylish Recruit (15/2), Knacker Trapper (9/1), Theirshegoes (9/1), Helsgetaway (10/1), Les's Legacy (11/1), Vanilla Dancer (11/1), Georgie's Malt (11/1), William Of York (40/1), Gorvennec (66/1)
NEWPORT was in good form when last seen over hurdles and can see out this extra distance to resume winning ways at the expense of Travis Wheatley, who travelled as if still on a good mark last time, and Stylish Recruit who will be a big threat if as effective away from Hexham.
