Improved markedly from debut when landing a 10-runner Wolverhampton novice in December and shaped as if better for the run when last of 3 behind Merlier there in March. Goes handicapping and tries turf for the first time here, and it would be no surprise were he capable of better.

Improved to land a Beverley maiden and Ripon nursery, both over 5f, last summer and stepped up on her reappearance when 1¾ lengths fifth of 17 to Fortification at York 8 days ago. Was unable to dominate there, though, and again faces competition for the lead here.

Won at Southwell last November but proved too free when last of 4 in a nursery at Newcastle the following month. Absent since and needs to prove himself equally as effective on turf. Wears first-time hood.

Won over 5f at Newcastle in January but has found things tougher in better company since. Back down in trip, he needs to rediscover his earlier form now returning to turf.

Improved to get off the mark at Bath 11 days ago at the seventh attempt. Looks to have been let off lightly by the assessor on his return to handicaps and, with a likely strong pace to suit, he should go very close.

Won a 6f maiden at Nottingham in April. Ran well under a penalty when second of 6 at Southwell 16 days ago, despite not settling through the early stages. The drop to 5f and likelihood of a strong pace to aim should suit and booking of Oisin Murphy can hardly be viewed as a negative.

Progressed as a juvenile, culminating with a win at Musselburgh last October. Unseated her rider before the start and was well held on stable debut at Beverley 19 days ago after 7 months off. Needs to leave that effort well behind to figure.

Won a Thirsk novice second time up as a juvenile but failed to build on it thereafter and has a bit to prove on return from 259 days off (has been gelded).
