Offered little in a pair of bumpers at the end of last year for Michael Keady and similar story starting out over hurdles for new yard at Uttoxeter 17 days ago.

Related to winning hurdlers but he's a long-standing maiden on the Flat (stays 1¾m) and rates best watched on first try in this discipline.

Modest handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m) who shaped with encouragement when third on hurdles debut at Plumpton (2m) last month. However, refused to race back on the level at Leicester 10 days ago. Comes with risks attached on that basis.

Modest 1¼m handicap winner on the Flat who matched hurdles debut form when second of 7 in a Hereford maiden (2m) 2 weeks ago. Will need to step up again if he's to play a lead role but that is certainly possible.

Fair handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m) and he ran to a borderline similar level when third on hurdles bow at Fakenham last month. Not in same form when fourth at Hexham since but certainly not one to write off in an ordinary affair.

Progressive middle-distance performer on the level in Ireland who was worried out of things after 5 months off (also had breathing operation) when second in a Market Rasen maiden (16.5f) 11 days ago. Still, this looks another excellent opportunity.

Kapgrade mare who made the frame in a trio of bumpers (modest form) but never threatened on hurdles debut at Worcester (2m) when last seen in September. This promises to reveal more.
